  • gen:LOCK - It's ALMOST HERE!

    Gray

    Hello hello-

We're getting tantalizingly close to gen:LOCK's premiere on January 26th! This amazing crew of which I'm so privileged to be a part, has been working very hard for a very long time. And we're excited (and must confess a little trepidacious) to finally start telling the story.

Here's how you can watch it. Even if you figured out how to catch the sneak peek of ep1, you're still going to have a blast on premiere day. Because we're going to put up the first two eps at once.

On Saturday, January 26th, just before the season finale of RWBY Volume 6 (call it 9:30ish a.m. CST), both episodes 1 *AND* 2 will drop on Rooster Teeth -- the website, the apps, however you prefer to watch it. Episode 1 will be free for absolutely anyone to watch, and then you'll need to be a Rooster Teeth FIRST member to check out ep 2.

After that, keep coming back to share the fun and join the conversation as the gL adventure continues. The remaining six episodes of season 1 will appear weekly, starting with ep3 on February 2nd, Saturdays at 10am CST, taking RWBY’s timeslot. These episodes will be exclusive to FIRST members. Not a FIRST member? Then check out the free trial!!

Keep an eye out for some more goodies coming out a bit later today, and a bunch more new stuff rolling out over the next couple weeks. And then on premiere day, please come join the insanity as we bring this amazing volume of RWBY to a close, enter the new world of gen:LOCK with its first two episodes, and celebrate all the amazing work that both CRWBY and gL crew *ahemahemstillneedagoodcrewname* have been pouring themselves into. If you've been enjoying what RT Animation is putting out there, please show them all the love they deserve.

    more soon,

    g.

  • Merry RWBY and Happy Volume 6 Updates!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry RWBY! Long time no journal, how’s everyone doing? Good? Great? Awesome?!

    Awesome.

I hope y’all have been enjoying this volume of RWBY so far! I couldn’t be happier with it, CRWBY has been kicking ass. It’s been an absolute blast to work on.

Got a couple of announcements for your calendars, mark ’em down!

    - Next week will be our mid-season break, which means no new episode on December 22nd! If you haven’t been with us as we’ve aired the last few seasons, we typically take a break during the holidays so the crew can get some time to spend with their families :) (or play Smash. Or both?)

    - To help get your fix, FIRST members can join us for a RWBY Volume 6 watch party on the site! That will be December 21, 10am CST. I’ll be there as well as members of CRWBY to laugh at memes and argue over whether a character dabbed or not with you all!

    - Chapter 8 will still stream as normal for free in RTTV stream (roosterteeth.com/live) on December 22, 10am CST. Grab dat bowl of cereal and come watch it on the site with everyone in the community!

    - RWBY will return on December 29th with Chapter 9 for FIRST members like nothing bad ever happened.

    - Our finale this year will be on January 26th for FIRST members, which is great timing because that’s also the same week as the premiere of gen:LOCK!!! (Y’all, I just got a chance to watch the first episode… DAMN! No… DAYUM!)

Okay, that’s all I got for now. If you haven’t noticed from all of the times I just typed FIRST (I promise I didn’t copy and paste any of them, those were artisanal key presses) there are a lot of great reasons to sign up to be a FIRST member. Or get that one lazy friend to always talks about it signing up but never does a month to give it a shot! Thanks a lot, Jerry.

    Happy Holidays  heart

     small_blue_diamondUPDATE

What is an Autograph Lottery Code?

We understand the phrasing for the autograph signing perk has changed for 2019.  No fear, as this does not mean any changes to the system! The new term “Autograph Lottery Code” was adapted for a few reasons.  First, to many newcomers to RTX we want the wording to better define that the sign ups for autograph sessions is up to chance, just as it has always been.  We have noticed the previous phrasing of “Autograph Code” led new attendees to believe they were guaranteed a signing, which is not the case.  Unfortunately, there just aren’t enough signing slots to guarantee a session for every attendee. Second, now that we have added the Ultra badge with a perk of (2) GUARANTEED autograph signings of their choice, we wanted to be sure we accurately defined the difference between the two perks.

Is the Karaoke Party the Platinum Party?
The Karaoke Party is replacing the Platinum Party.  The Karaoke Party will be an awesome night for Ultra and Platinum badge holders to hang out with other community members, play games, mingle, and of course, karaoke! The party will be hosted by a Special Guest and you will have an opportunity to meet & greet with Rooster Teeth staff.

  • An Important Update Regarding the RT Box

    Eric_Duncan VP, Marketing

Happy Holidays, everyone. I hope your year has been a great one and that this last month of 2018 treats you well. This year Matt is giving us almost the entire afternoon off for Christmas, so we’re pretty excited! I’m coming to you today with some sad news that was pretty difficult to write.

    The RT Box is ending.

Yes, you read that right. The Season 3 Box, the RT Holiday box that many of you are already enjoying, will be the last one. It has been a crazy ride from when we originally launched Double Gold in July 2016, to when we changed plans and created the current RT Box this April, and till now. We’ve seen some ups and downs, but I’m proud that the team was able to make some of the coolest stuff ever for these exclusive boxes, and we’ve had a blast. At Rooster Teeth we like to try new things that we think our community will enjoy. We took a couple of shots at this and it just hasn’t quite worked out. I want to thank everyone who subscribed or even just tried out one or two boxes. You chose to support us when you could have done otherwise, and we appreciate that more than you know.

What does this mean for you?
I know a lot of you value one RT Box perk in particular - the ability to get first crack at Rooster Teeth live event tickets. If you’re a current subscriber, we’re going to let you keep that perk for 2019. As long as you are a paying RT Box member any time in Season 3 (between October 1 and December 31) you will be eligible to receive the following perks from January 1 to December 31, 2019.

    • Two gold stars next to your username

    • Early access to purchase tickets for live events

We will be removing the 10% off discount in the RT Store starting January 1, 2019, for current RT Box members.

    What’s next?
Anyone who is currently an RT Box member, expecting to be charged for the Season 4 box - you won’t be charged in the new year. Your recurring payments will stop on January 1 and no further charges will happen.

If you have not purchased the RT Holiday Box, you still have time if you want it. You have until December 31 at 11:59 p.m. CT or until we run out of inventory.

Thanks for being awesome. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me or @Chelsea if you have any questions.

  • Rats Through a Maze

    Daniel Writer/Director

    Hello all!

I hope everyone is enjoying the first season of Achievement Haunter. The cast and crew have worked very hard to create a good looking, fun and entertaining show that we hope delivers. But I wanted to address something I keep seeing in the comments:

Is Haunter scripted? Yes and no (but mostly, no).

Television--or any quality entertainment format really--demands some sort of story or loose structure that many would describe as “satisfying” for the audience. In the horror genre, that usually means quality scares and/or destroying the monster. But, since we don’t know week-to-week if we will find a ghost, we plan a few situations and scares so we can be sure there’s a show. That said, sometimes these moments fail and do not end up in the episode. There are several story beats throughout any given episode; however, everything in between that is completely up to the cast and the random events of any given situation.

To better explain, let’s go back to my days on Immersion S3 and S4, a show that often placed Gavin and Michael in a labyrinth of video game related tasks and scenarios they would hilariously stumble through. Resident Evil, or even Surgeon Simulator for that matter, are really good examples. They are different formats but each have “scripted” elements; but what the lab rats do with those elements is completely up to them. It's what I like to call "Rats Through a Maze" method of storytelling.

For instance, in Resident Evil we set up several obstacles: a course with blind corners and tri hazards, a few zombies whose path and reactions were based on rules, and a clear goal at the end of the course—in this case a key. And each time we would change the Lab Rats camera POV because that was the test. But that’s it. I did not tell Gavin and Michael to try high-fiving three different ways; or how to reload their guns; or where the keys were. It’s all up to them how to deal with the situation.

Surgeon Simulator may be an even better example because their obstacle is right in front of them: save the patient before they bleed out. I set the parameters, add some props and spray lots of blood. What about the plate with fork and knife in the metal drawer? Only Michael knew about that. Gavin had no idea. All I told Michael was: “Look inside the drawer. And the material in the stomach is edible. Good luck.” That’s it. The rest was up to Michael and Gavin. And it’s one of the best moments of the episode!

Haunter is very similar. Did we bring a red ball to coax out Stacy? Yes. Did I tell Michael to pop it? No. Did I tell Lindsay to try and find ghost cats? Yes. Did I tell her to make a summoning circle? All her. Do we use specific tools in the episode based on the story? Yes. Do we script the results? Absolutely not. Do I propose Michael lock Jeremy in a closet? Absolutely. Do we tell Jeremy first? Hell no.

And for the record: I don’t know what the fuck happened to Jeremy at the Long Leaf Sawmill.

So certain beats of the ghost hunt are planned out ahead of time, sure. But all the space in between—and often times the beats themselves—are up to the team. It’s all based around what they experience and the story of the location. All the director does is make sure the audience has the information they need and encourage follow up if something is discovered.

Furthermore, we rarely manipulate the location during a ghost hunt. And the majority of the Story Times are shot on location the next day.

Ultimately, the show is a hybrid. The Story Time is partially scripted because the team needs to know the dates, details and story of the crazy shit that happens at these haunted locations. They need the beats to tell a story. But the rest—the improvisation that we then recreate—is entirely up to them. In the moment. But I’ll write more on the process of Story Time later on in the season.

    Hope that is illuminating!

    Enjoy the show,

    Daniel

  • Extra Life 2018!

    jack I Like Lego

    Aloha folks!

It's time! This weekend brings forth the season of Extra Life! We're kicking it off with our third annual RT Community Stream! We're going to be broadcasting 25 hours of Extra Life from all over the planet, featuring different RT Community Groups and their efforts to support their local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

I'll be there with Caiti, @Chelsea, @chadscrewattack, @RTcastMichael, and the broadcast team giving updates between all of the different groups about what we've got coming up! Each team will broadcast for about an hour before moving on to the next team.  All of this will be seen at http://extralife.roosterteeth.com/ (Our new hub for all things Extra Life!)

Along with the community stream, we're going to have some merchandise up in the store as well that will contribute to Rooster Teeth's Extra Life donation. Last year's Pokemon-themed pin set will return to the Store for the RT Community Stream in preparation for a brand new set the following weekend! If you didn't get last years, this is your chance! On top of that, the #forthekids pin will return to the store, and live there forever! Proceeds from all of these pieces will go towards Rooster Teeth's donation to Extra Life! We do not profit from any Extra Life merchandise.

So, don't forget, starting tomorrow (November 3rd) morning at 8am CDT, check out the RT Community Stream, grab your new and old pins, and support your fellow RT Community!

    AND THEN!

On November 10th, at 8am CST, it all kicks off.  We'll be streaming 24 hours of the best #rtextralife shenanigans ever.  Join your favorites from all of the Rooster Teeth family as we do our damndest to raise $1.25 million dollars for the kids!

This year we're ramping everything up. We've got a dunk tank, we've got Moonballs, we've got a FREAKING STEAMROLLER.  It's going to be bonkers, and we want you there for it!

Also, as in years past, we'll have some incredible exclusive Extra Life merchandise available for you to grab! Of course, we'll have an incredible poster available for you.  This year's theme is the Crowned Rooster Hotel, and it looks amazing.  It's jam packed full of Easter eggs and I can't wait for you to get your hands on it.

    KOnvbvA.jpg

Along with the poster, you can grab a Crowned Rooster shirt to show off your love of your favorite fake hotel ever.  The shirt will come in a unisex cut, or a female cut.  Your choice!  We'll also have a very very limited number of Crowned Rooster robes! Look posh! As I mentioned before, we've got a brand new set of Pokemon themed badges as well! Make sure to complete your set! ON TOP OF THAT COOLNESS -  the brand new WHEEL OF VENGEANCE pin hits the Store! It's our first ever moving pin! Hooray!

    So, TL;DR

2017 Pokemon-Themed Badge Pin Set Available Nov 3 - 4 during the RT Community Stream

#forthekids Pin Available starting Nov 3 and living there year-round!

2018 Pokemon-Themed Badge Pin Set Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

Wheel of Vengeance Pin Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

Crowned Rooster Shirt Female and Unisex Cuts Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

Limited Crowned Rooster Robes Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

We'll also have raffle prizes up for grabs as well as we have had in years past.  We're still lining up all of them, but we've got a few doozys in there... (including one incredible opportunity with Achievement Haunter!)

Again, this is all for the kids.  This is my favorite thing I get to do, and I hope you tune in.  If you can support our stream via donation, or purchasing some exclusive merchandise, that would be amazing.  If you can't support it financially, just spreading the word is the best thing on the planet.

We love you, and you guys are the best community on the planet!

Edit: The Wheel of Vengeance Pin is only available November 10 - 11 during the Extra Life Stream.

  • Update on the new community site!

    kriss Community Manager

    Hello community!

I know this update is a long time coming that many of you have been waiting for, myself included.

We are NOW, OFFICIALLY in an internal beta for the new community site! This is a HUGE milestone for us, and all of us are excited for this achievement. Right now, we are going through the new platform with the goal to work with our amazing Engineering team, to figure out what works well (or...not so well), improve all sorts of aspects, and ultimately create a fantastic experience for you when the community site is able to go public.

We know you have been waiting for updates on the new site (some of you curious if it was even on our radar) and we want you to know that it has been, it is, and it will be because this is a huge priority for us.

For future updates and other news, myself, Chelsea, or Barbara will be making those announcements when we can.

That said, below is a sneak peek of the internal beta. Can't wait to show you more!

*SPECIAL NOTE* Please keep in mind that this is not a finalized version of the community site.

  • New Player for 24-hour Channels

    alyssa.walker

    Hi Everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself and share some news. I joined the Programming team a few months ago as the Scheduling Manager. Since then, I have been helping to figure out the best times and dates to launch new episodes. I will also be scheduling the 24/7 channels that you see on our site and app.

This week, we switched over the streaming players on these feeds (Rooster TV Beta, AHTV Beta, and Funhaus TV Beta). Since the launch of the channels, we have been using YouTube’s player to air episodes of our content on a 24-hour basis for the whole community to enjoy.

Because of this player, we were only able to create random playlists and could not program a schedule. On Wednesday, we began using a new player to stream these feeds. This change means that there will no longer be the ability to click-through to the playlist on YouTube from our site, but it DOES mean we will have a lot of new possibilities for scheduling the feeds. (YAY!)

Not only will this switch give us the opportunity to eventually incorporate all live broadcasts and livestreams into the channels, but we will also be able to better curate and specifically schedule the content airing on them. Be on the lookout for marathons, theme days, and holiday content as we start to get more involved in scheduling each channel. And if there’s anything you want to see, let us know! We want to include videos and content that you want to see.

Rooster TV, AHTV, and Funhaus TV can be found by going to the Live tab on the Rooster Teeth site and mobile app. Please take a look and leave any feedback or questions in the comments.

    Thanks!

    Alyssa

  • Extra Life Recruitment Stream!

    jack I Like Lego

Aloha folks! It's my favorite time of year, Extra Life Season! We've got a ton of Extra Life stuff coming up, starting on October 4th! That's right, this year's recruitment stream begins at 6pm CST on Thursday, October 4th.  We're looking to build up Team Rooster Teeth for Extra Life and we're looking for amazing folks such as yourself to join.

Oh hey, did you know, this year is Extra Life's 10th anniversary? It's incredible to think that our first stream was just Geoff and I back in 2010, hanging out in the AH office, and even then, that was two years into the life of Extra Life!  This year will mark our 6th "big" stream for Extra Life, and we can't be more excited.

Extra Life's official Game Day is November 3rd, but if you are playing along, you aren't beholden to that specific day.  On November 3rd, Rooster Teeth will host our third Community Stream where we point our stream at different Rooster Teeth Community teams across the planet, all raising money for Extra Life!  You can sign up for Extra Life (and join the Rooster Teeth Super Team) by going HERE.  Don't forget, the way Extra Life works is that all donations that go to you will actually direct towards a local Children's Miracle Network of your choosing!

Since 2008, the Extra Life community has raised over $40 MILLION dollars in funds directly helping kids in Children's Miracle Network hospitals all over the United States and Canada.  So much of that is from you, our amazing community.

So, the long and short of it:

Our Extra Life Rooster Teeth Recruitment Stream is October 4th at 6pm CST until 10pm CST!

The Rooster Teeth Community Extra Life Stream is November 3rd from 8am until November 4th at 8am.

The Rooster Teeth Extra Life Stream will be November 10th from 8am until November 11th at 8am.

We will be showing off some badass stuff we have planned (including exclusive items) during our recruitment stream, so please, join us! We love you guys!

  • RT Community Stream for Extra Life! Nov 3-4, Submit Now!

    Chelsea RT Community Manager

    Hey y'all!

We’re back! For a third year in a row, Rooster Teeth will be hosting the RT Community Stream. We’re already gearing up with plans and shenanigans and ways that we can do mental (and some physical) harm to our co-workers in the name of, "For the Kids."

The RT Community Stream will be happening on November 3 to November 4, 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. CST - a full 25 hours of bouncing around every hour to community groups all over the world. And yes, that's 25 hours, so 25 groups because Daylight Savings Time is happening again.

We’ve done this the last two years, but some of you may be asking, WHAT IS THE EXTRA LIFE RT COMMUNITY STREAM? Let me tell you.

The RT Community Stream is a 25-hour livestream where we, Rooster Teeth, will host a specific Community Group or Individual in hour long blocks. Jack, Caiti, myself and maybe some other randos will be hosting the stream at the top of every hour; covering Extra Life details, showing off the exclusive merchandise, and telling you about the new group we’re about to throw it to. The RT Community Stream is schedule on the same day as Extra Life’s massive GAME DAY. Where Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Game Day is the day of play (the whole 25 hours of it) where gamers around the world marathon their favorite table top, PC and consoles games to raise money for sick and injured kids. It’s just like a walk-a-thon, only you’re participating alongside gamers who, just like you, are playing or streaming #forthekids!

In the past we’ve been able to pull in groups located all over the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and more. There have been skits, gameplay, truly horrific stretch goals, and artistic streams - anything is game when it comes to raising money For the Kids.

So, here’s the deal: we're looking for some amazing RT Community Extra Life teams that are looking to participate in our official RT Community Stream.

If you're interested, please fill out the following form! Make sure to get with your fellow group members so there's no duplicates between y'all.

    SUPER COOL AWESOME FORM

For those of you who participated last year, you'll have to fill out the form again. You have until September 28, 2018 to submit.

Now here's the cool part. By joining our Rooster Teeth Super Team on Extra Life, every dollar that you, or people in your sub team donate goes towards the total that Rooster Teeth is attempting to raise. Here is our team!

If you have issues with the Rooster Teeth Super Team, or you want to create a sub-team to include in the Rooster Teeth Super Team, drop the support guys at Extra Life an email at support@extra-life.org and they'll hook you up.

So, to sum up Extra Life and the streams...

November 3 is the 25-hour RT Community Stream

November 10 is the INSANE 24-hour Rooster Teeth Extra Life Stream.

If y'all have questions, drop 'em below. @jack and I will do our best to answer!

P.S. - A lot of people were asking about tech minimums and recommendations for streaming. HERE'S THAT INFO FOR YOU.

  • Movie Club: Stardust

    Ashley The Know

This week on Club Club we're watching Stardust! It's a 2007 movie based on the book by Neil Gaiman and we can't wait to talk about it. If you want to watch before this weekend, it's currently streaming on Netflix (in the US, at least... not sure about other regions. Sorry!), but it's also available to rent on YouTube/Google Play, Amazon, and iTunes.

We want to include your thoughts in the show!

You can suggest a "Movie Club" style question about the themes of the movie we should discuss.

You can also leave us a comment about something in the movie that surprised you, a moment you particularly enjoyed, etc. and we'll shout out some of your thoughts in the episode. OR you can tweet us your thoughts using the hashtag #ClubClub.

I CAN'T WAIT TO DISCUSS THIS MOVIE WITH EVERYONE!

  • Murder Room Now Available to Everyone & Show Changes

    Podrick

I'm getting so many messages from you saying that your parents and friends are watching Murder Room, which is awesome and disturbing stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye .  I'm so happy you guys are having fun with this show!  New episodes will now be available to everyone on the site a week after their release to FIRST members.  So tell even more of your friends and family to watch!

I've also been following the feedback.  Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions.  I know more time is something you really want from Murder Room. While episodes two through four keep the current time rules of the original pilot, I am changing things up a bit in the last episode of this run.  I'm giving the council a little more breathing room while hopefully not changing the overall pace of the show, especially the ending.

Some of you are wondering if the mysteries will always be heavy.  Nope.  We are playing a game of murder so some stories will obviously be serious, but we are having some fun with this too.

Thanks for watching!  We want to keep you guessing and making more episodes!

  • Hardcore Tabletop Drops Today

    geoff

    Hey-o,

Life used to suck. It’s harsh, but true. The world was so boring, that as recently as 80 years ago, people had to pretend to be a thimble or a fucking wheelbarrow just to pass the time. Thankfully technology came along and made the world actually fun. For instance, now we get to pretend to be much cooler shit, like giant noses and moustaches.

I’m speaking of course, of Hardcore Tabletop. If you haven’t heard of it yet, we basically take boring old “who even cares who wins?” Monopoly, and dramatically ratchet up the fun and stakes. How, you say? How is it possible to take that game and make it fun in 2018? It’s quite simple.

    Real Money

    Real Jail Time (sort of)

Obviously, I’ll be the banker. Jack is going to wear a big hat. And it’s going to be a lot of fun. There are eight episodes that’ll go up weekly on Tuesdays. FIRST members can check out the first two episodes today. If you’re not a FIRST member, then you can’t pass go, and you definitely can’t collect $200. You can watch the first episode for free, though (but only the first one).

    Thanks for playing along.

  • RTX London 2018- Autograph Code Information

    nicolew Events Specialist

    Hello RTX London 2018 Attendees!

We are excited to be over in London in just 25 days and see all of your smiling faces! We can’t wait for year two in London to begin.

We wanted to update everyone on Autograph Codes to explain how they work, and important dates approaching you need to know.

As a reminder, Platinum badges come with two (2) Autograph Codes, while Weekend badges come with one (1) Autograph Code.  An Autograph Code guarantees you the opportunity to reserve a spot in an autograph signing session, but it does NOT guarantee you will get into every signing you want.  There are a certain number of slots per autograph signing session and they fill quickly. So we recommend be ready when autograph signing sessions go live to reserve your spot.

    IMPORTANT DATES:

22 August, 11:59 PM GMT = Cut-off date to buy a badge and receive an autograph code

24 August, 3 PM GMT = Codes and instructions emailed out to Platinum & Weekend badge holders

27 August, 3 PM GMT = Autograph Signing Schedule posted

5 September, 5 PM GMT = Platinum badge holders access to reserve

7 September, 5 PM GMT = Weekend badge holders access to reserve

  • News regarding RTX Sydney and future Australian live events

    Bethany Head of RT Events

    Hi everyone!

Traveling our company to Australia every year is a massive endeavor for Rooster Teeth, and one that we always look forward to. However, we can only manage one big event in Australia each year, and based on feedback from our community we’ve decided to change things up in 2019.

Rather than the standard RTX event, we'll be sending Achievement Hunter and friends down under to put on three amazing stage shows in a few different cities. We can't wait to show you what these guys have planned, and we'll be announcing dates and venues very soon!

Stay tuned for how and where to buy tickets in the coming weeks. We can't wait to see you again in Australia in 2019!

  • Rooster Teeth's Murder Room is Back!

    Podrick

This week we begin releasing more episodes of Murder Room!  We produced four new episodes from mysteries written earlier this year in testing. These four new episodes will give us a chance to get even more feedback and tweak this killer show (haha) before going into our official first season. (fingers crossed) Murder Room will also be moving to a different windowing session. Episodes will launch for FIRST members and be exclusive for 7 days, then it will open to be available to anyone on RoosterTeeth.com and all mobile apps for 7 more days, and finally after that it will be available on YouTube for the public. Since this is the first show of its kind, we are basically learning how to best turn each mystery into a game.  I think you'll see how each episode gets stronger and stronger as we solve this crazy-ass puzzle we call Murder Room.  Now, set your timer and prepare to convict a killer.

  • RTX Austin 2018 Feedback Requested

    Bethany Head of RT Events

    Hi my lovelies!

It's been a week since RTX Austin ended and as usual, I feel a mix of emotions. So much time and work (and champagne!) goes into planning the massive experience that is RTX, that when it ends after a jam-packed, whirlwind of one weekend, it's hard not to feel a sense of sadness inside. Yes, it's a phenomenal feeling to come full-circle and see the results of the previous year of work come to life, however it also comes with a heavy amount of anxiety and longing for what's next to come.

I truly hope you had a wonderful time this year at RTX, however we know there are always ways we can improve year over year. My team and I would love to hear from you on your experience this year at RTX Austin 2018: Registration, Security, Panels/Programming, Hotels, Evening Events, Communications, and anything else you want to ask/discuss.

A brief survey was emailed to all attendees last week, so please make sure you complete it. Not only will you be entered to potentially win 2 Weekend badges to RTX Austin 2019, but the feedback is invaluable to us. We read every word and consider every suggestion in our planning for the following year.

Lastly, I cannot thank you, the community, enough for continuing to show your support for Rooster Teeth by attending RTX and our other live events. It's you that makes Rooster Teeth special. It's you that allows us to have RTX each year. It's you that makes this the fucking best community in the entire world. It's you that deserves all the love and appreciation I can give. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
