For countless decades, man has killed and been killed in the debate of which religion is right and true. There was also another theory, one that started with the ancient Greeks, and became more refined through the workings of Charles Darwin in the nineteenth century. This other theory is named evolutionism. Evolutionism is the belief that all life grew and evolved out of smaller life, and that over time, has become adapted. This theory believes that the world is as it is because those that could not survive died. Those that could went on to create children, and as the generations passed the world became more diverse.
Which do you believe? Do you believe that as a race, we evolved and died in accordance to who was strong enough to survive? Or do you believe we were created, already with our bodies adapted and suited for this world? Created with an entire fully devolved world at our disposal? Evolved or placed? The decision is yours to make.

Personally, I find myself inclined to believe that we have evolved from a simpler life form, and have learned to survive. I just don’t find the religious point of view plausible. Anybody can write a story. If I were to write a story, create a group of followers, and proclaim my entirely fictional story as the truth, would it be true? Of course not, and only the very blind and naïve would think it so.

In this essay, I will look at ways that the bible proves itself to be a work of fiction, a novel, and not a holy testament that should be taken entirely as truth. I will also however provide arguments against the theory of evolution, so that you can properly form your own opinions on this topic.
