Making a comeback So, I've been thinking about coming back here for a while. I've been feeling the need to expand my "social network".
I haven't been around in a long time, but I used to be pretty active here. Looking back on it, It really amazing how much more easy, personal, and FUN this community is compared to even Facebook.
Although I've been here for a while, you'll notice I have no other journal posts. I had probably a dozen pages of posts, but I deleted them all. They weren't all that great, and were from a weird time in my life that I didn't like being reminded of. You may actually find it interesting how I got rid of them. There is no mass delete button. I used DownThemAll for firefox. I opened every page in a tab, then had down them all download every post. After having everything backed up, I had it look for links, and filtered out the delete links. Probably took about a minute for it to get all of them.
So, for those of you who knew me a long time ago, and haven't head from me since, here's a short summary of things I like or are doing.
Drupal web developer. Huge Ubuntu fan. Created spreadubuntu.org, which is unofficially Canonical supported, since it is their domain name. Worked at Fermilab building a prototype improvement to their distributed computing system..
I love the Drunk Tank podcast. I've listened to every episode at least once or twice. It's very relaxing.
I'm into Industrial music. Nine Inch Nails, Flesh Field, Suicide Commando, Tactical Sekt, Life Cried, System Syn, Wumpscut, Xentrifuge. That sort of thing. If you aren't already familiar, I'm guessing you won't like it. It's not exactly something you can just jump into. It's an acquired taste.
Anyway, looks like I have a bunch of stuff to update. Glad to see it doesn't look like much has changed.
