First of all I'd like to thank the Academy... and then I'd like to ask them just how their voting process works...

I mean, Seriously... I haven't been on this site in 3 YEARS and I'm chosen as Featured User??? Did they have a slow news week or what?
I'm a-thinkin' there's some kind of random-number-generator involved...

Although it's none of your business, I guess I owe (some of) you a bit of explanation as to my absence: Quite simply, 2008 was a very bad year for me. All for personal reasons, and DEFINITELY none of your business unless I actually know you, I suffered some wounds that year that I'm still healing from...

Yes, you heard it right: 3+ years later and I'm STILL healing... and I honestly dunno if I'll ever heal fully... All I can say is that the age listed in my profile is accurate and that I will attest to the fact that you really DO heal slower the older you get... So wear your seatbelts, Folks...

I'll also say - and not for the 1st time methinks of it - that I've missed this place a lot. It's just that I really didn't/haven't had the slightest extra bit of energy to expend on anything other than basic Survival for a very long time now. I still might not... I honestly dunno... but I really have missed my friends hereon and maybe it's time for me to get my head out of the sand...

ALSO I haven't watched a single episode since Season 4??? I think I have a bit of catching up to do, maybe???

So Thanks Again, for the honour...If I'm online anytime soon then I'll likely be hidden... (Do they still have that option?)

I'll leave you with this comment: Although it may sound trite, I tell you truly that you should NOT EVER take anyone in your life that you care about for granted. Treasure every single moment that you have with those you love. Your mother, your father, your siblings, your friends; that very special person whom you might not even have told means so much to you...
THESE people in your life are the difference that you make every single day... don't ever make light of the difference they make to you and don't ever make light of the difference you make to them...
