So next year I’ll be a college student still instead of a member of the job-seeking unemployed population of post-grads. If it wasn’t for her I would’ve given up already. We’re both determined to do whatever it takes to make this work. It’s going to take time. There will most likely be blood, sweat and tears before this is over but no matter what happens, I know we’ll see this through to the end together.

College, as well as minor technical faults like the screen of my tv getting a huge crack across the middle has pretty much halted my YT Let’s Play channel. it’s like the universe is saying it’s best if I don’t do it at all but I still want to try a few more games. So I’ll do this one more time. This Sunday I’ll get back into capturing. If you guys have seen my videos already, any input, criticisms, comments would be very well appreciated. I do want this to become a regular thing and get started, even as a little fish in a huge ocean of better Let’s Players and Streamers out there. If you guys have any suggestions of what games you want to see me play, they would be more than welcome but if I get nothing I have some ideas just to get back into it before I attempt the mount I had planned if you didn’t read a previous journal I said I’d do the MGS games in chronological order and a Mass Effect 1-3 Let’s Play

My other plans for the summer are a little more sensible. To help out with the college fees next year I hope to get a part time job somewhere anywhere I’ve already done out the math and the least amount I’d bring in is 2 grand. Save 90% and spend about 200 on a new external HDD to save absolutely everything I make. I figure keeping everything, raw footage included would be a good thing for the future. Never know what might happen. So if I’m lucky I’ll get somewhere, get the hours and the money and pay about half of next year’s fees. I also have plans on getting fit again. Me and a friend are going to join a gym and go on a regular basis. Only three years ago I was using my school’s gym. About 2-3 years hours every week. Most of that was on a treadmill or playing ping pong with friends but it was enough. I started going on Fridays before Christmas and the plan was to continue but that sort of fell through. I was going alone then so now that a friend is coming with it should keep me going regularly. at least it gives me someone to nag when it comes time to leave Probably just stick with the treadmill again. Hopefully I don’t share the same experience as Gus as #217. I think I’ll die if that happens.

Going off topic just a bit but I’ve done two movie reviews on the journal before of The Avengers and Iron Man 3. I’m not sure if they will be a regular thing on here but it’s something I love doing, discussing and picking apart movies with friends. If people like those, I have some ideas for a Star Trek Into Darkness review. And I know that anyone with a blog or YT channel and a camera can do this and call themselves “critics” or reviewers but as I said, I don’t think this will be a regular thing and if people like them well then that’s fantastic. If they don’t, well that’s not quite as good but hey, they aren’t on the site for me.
