Love Can Turn To Hate:
I can’t think. I mustn’t think.
Thinking leads to questions.
Questions lead to lies.
Lies lead the way for heartbreak.
As for heartbreak? I’d rather die.
I took his hand unthinking.
Unblushing, unconcerned.
And when he clutched back tighter,
I took it all in turn.
But time has been a ticking.
All the while, I start to think
And thinking makes me agonize
And agonizing stinks.
And as I spiral farther,
down the hole inside my head,
I lose track of being there with you-
I’m in my head instead.
And suddenly, I lose you.
Because I care too much.
Because I started thinking
That things can’t stay this way.
Nothing lasts forever.
Love can turn to hate.
