My Thoughts on the OscarsWell foiks, once again, it is Oscar season. Happens every year, sometimes the event is exciting, and at other times, it becomes a simple political or social statement by the filmmaking elite. This year, there were
many fantastic films released. And surprisingly, the majority of them were very accessible to the average viewer. For the first time in a while that I can recall, the movies that were popular, and well made seem to have been nominated. The obvious hit of all of filmmaking, Avatar is all over the nominations list, as well as flicks like Up in the Air, Up, Precious, The Hurt Locker, and Inglorious Basterds.
So, whenever Oscar season does come around those who care about them usually come up with their thoughts on who should, or will win.
