Thank you to all the brave people who have selflessly served and sacrificed for our country. Happy Veterans Day.  us

Rooster Teeth’s Extra Life stream ended with a total of $1.4 million raised.  Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in our own fundraising stream. We raised over $1,000 which is quite the accomplishment for a group with so little publicity. One of the things Extra Life always advocates is the discussion for “*Why I Extra-Life*”. Most people have stories about their own children going through an illness or a sibling or even themselves needing care as a child. But I want to remind everyone that you don’t need a reason to do this other than because we can. We’re people who can do something as simple as spend 24 hours having fun, and it improves the care of a child in hospital. I look forward to next year and the goals we set. #forthekids

D&D is coming up. This Saturday, November 17th at 1pm we have the second game of the “Dumbasses & Doors” campaign. If you want to join, be sure to get the @D&D tag. Go to #bot-commands and use command !dragons to sign up. Game resources are pinned in the channel. If you’re a new player, please check that your character is okay with our DM. (This all makes sense if you join our Discord!!)

Tomorrow we’re showing The Matrix at 9pm on https://www.rabb.it/rtnc. We will have Matrix Mondays for the rest of the month and show the whole trilogy.

We have decided to not host a Friendsgiving this month, and are working on plans for a Christmas holiday event instead.

    Special Thanks:

We did not reach $2060 by ourselves, so we need to give credit where it’s due.

    • First of all major thanks to EVERYONE who RTed or shared the stream, without word of mouth we’d be nowhere.

    • Thanks to everyone who donated whether it was one dollar or hundreds of dollars every donation counts and is important #forthekids

    • Thanks to SilentHero who has always been a big supporter of g1 Gamedays and went above and beyond this Extra Life.

    • Thanks to the people on Twitter I DMed about this and who shared the stream and didn’t block me. Yall are awesome.

    • Thanks to RT Broadcast’s own Bryan Baker who I THINK was working during our stream, still shared the stream, still played Marbles on Stream with us, and donated. <3 Byran!

    • Thanks to Craig from Game Attack and the Game Attack community. Craig supported our stream, hosted us on the Game Attack channel multiple times, and even stopped in the chat to yell at Chad. <3 Craigums

    • Thanks to Nervous Nick of ScrewAttack, who came, saw, and kicked ass in Killer Instinct. </3 Nick

    • Thanks to Hybrid Rain who donated to the cause, joined us for Killer Instinct and Blackout, shared the stream, and is just an awesome dude! GREASE LIGHTNING! <3 Hybrid

    • Thanks to Chad from ScrewAttack who donated to our goal, joined us for Killer Instinct, Blackout, and Super Smash Bros AND shared/hosted the channel multiple times. <3 Chad

    • Thanks to all the mods who kept things in order, especially during the insanity of our power hour.

    • Thanks to Michael from broadcast for helping with our technical issues, Chelsea from RT for corralling all these RT communities together, and Jack for his dedication to Extra Life.

    • Also thanks to the great people at RT World bringing all these communities together.

    • Last but not least, I personally want to thank all the g1 Gamedays hosts Shiro, Jimbo, Erik, Robe, Clair, Debaser, Tom, Johnny, Wolf, and Zach. These 10 people work for g1 Gamedays for FREE. They donate their time to stream games with you to support the g1 and RT communities and for a great cause. They always worry about what will be the best for g1 Gamedays, and what games YOU all would like to play/watch, they spend their own money, and time making sure g1 Gamedays is the best. They are the best… even Robe (I guess).

    • Also thanks me aka Woody, I guess...I did things.

  • Why Extra Life is Important to Me

    CraigRobinson

Heyo! So it's Extra Life weekend and the stream is going great! It's only 10:30 (9:30 Texas Time) and the donations counter is already at 200K!!!! That's amazing! At this rate we will reach our goals in no time! So as the title says, Extra Life has a special importance to me. So let me start off by telling you all an interesting fact about me. It's one that I will be able to carry with me through my whole life and it is probably the most special thing that will ever happen to me. I am a triplet. I was born with two brothers on June 13th, 2002. The three of us have been close since day one. We have done everything together. My two brothers are identical twins while I am their fraternal tag-along as I like to say. I'm more of the creative one while they are all athletic and stuff. Our personalities couldn't be more different but we love each other all the same.

So when we were born, we were born prematurely (as are most sets of multiples) and this meant that we were going to have problems, either then or later in life. Sure enough we did. I was the incubator baby and the doctor told my mom I might not live. But I did (obviously) and so did my siblings. But when we all were about 2, tragedy struck my family. My brother Brady was diagnosed with hydrocephalus (Here's a link to the wikipedia page for more:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrocephalus ) and his life was forever changed. As just two years old, barely able to walk, Brady was rushed to the ER for an emergency brain surgery. They gave him something called shunt, which to dumb it down alot is like a bionic bendy straw that goes from his brain to his stomach. The doctors told him that depending on how much damage was done he could develop learning difficulties, and sports were all but out of the question. 14 years later my brother is a starting point guard and avid swimmer, and is top of his class. If it wasn't  for the incredible doctors and nurses who took care of him he would not be here today (oooff I'm getting emotional). He has had 4 other repair surgeries since and every one has been a success.

Carrying this part of my life has made me care passionately about helping out hospitals and kids in need as much as physically possible. Charity streams like this are extremely important to me and I participate in this one specifically every year! It means alot to me because I know what those families are going through and how much this kind of thing really does help.

So yeah! That's my little extra life story. Hope to see a lot of participation this year and I hope we reach all of our goals.

    jack I Like Lego

    Aloha folks!

It's time! This weekend brings forth the season of Extra Life! We're kicking it off with our third annual RT Community Stream! We're going to be broadcasting 25 hours of Extra Life from all over the planet, featuring different RT Community Groups and their efforts to support their local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

I'll be there with Caiti, @Chelsea, @chadscrewattack, @RTcastMichael, and the broadcast team giving updates between all of the different groups about what we've got coming up! Each team will broadcast for about an hour before moving on to the next team.  All of this will be seen at http://extralife.roosterteeth.com/ (Our new hub for all things Extra Life!)

Along with the community stream, we're going to have some merchandise up in the store as well that will contribute to Rooster Teeth's Extra Life donation. Last year's Pokemon-themed pin set will return to the Store for the RT Community Stream in preparation for a brand new set the following weekend! If you didn't get last years, this is your chance! On top of that, the #forthekids pin will return to the store, and live there forever! Proceeds from all of these pieces will go towards Rooster Teeth's donation to Extra Life! We do not profit from any Extra Life merchandise.

So, don't forget, starting tomorrow (November 3rd) morning at 8am CDT, check out the RT Community Stream, grab your new and old pins, and support your fellow RT Community!

    AND THEN!

On November 10th, at 8am CST, it all kicks off.  We'll be streaming 24 hours of the best #rtextralife shenanigans ever.  Join your favorites from all of the Rooster Teeth family as we do our damndest to raise $1.25 million dollars for the kids!

This year we're ramping everything up. We've got a dunk tank, we've got Moonballs, we've got a FREAKING STEAMROLLER.  It's going to be bonkers, and we want you there for it!

Also, as in years past, we'll have some incredible exclusive Extra Life merchandise available for you to grab! Of course, we'll have an incredible poster available for you.  This year's theme is the Crowned Rooster Hotel, and it looks amazing.  It's jam packed full of Easter eggs and I can't wait for you to get your hands on it.

    KOnvbvA.jpg

Along with the poster, you can grab a Crowned Rooster shirt to show off your love of your favorite fake hotel ever.  The shirt will come in a unisex cut, or a female cut.  Your choice!  We'll also have a very very limited number of Crowned Rooster robes! Look posh! As I mentioned before, we've got a brand new set of Pokemon themed badges as well! Make sure to complete your set! ON TOP OF THAT COOLNESS -  the brand new WHEEL OF VENGEANCE pin hits the Store! It's our first ever moving pin! Hooray!

    So, TL;DR

2017 Pokemon-Themed Badge Pin Set Available Nov 3 - 4 during the RT Community Stream

#forthekids Pin Available starting Nov 3 and living there year-round!

2018 Pokemon-Themed Badge Pin Set Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

Wheel of Vengeance Pin Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

Crowned Rooster Shirt Female and Unisex Cuts Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

Limited Crowned Rooster Robes Available Nov 10-11 during the Extra Life Stream

We'll also have raffle prizes up for grabs as well as we have had in years past.  We're still lining up all of them, but we've got a few doozys in there... (including one incredible opportunity with Achievement Haunter!)

Again, this is all for the kids.  This is my favorite thing I get to do, and I hope you tune in.  If you can support our stream via donation, or purchasing some exclusive merchandise, that would be amazing.  If you can't support it financially, just spreading the word is the best thing on the planet.

We love you, and you guys are the best community on the planet!

Edit: The Wheel of Vengeance Pin is only available November 10 - 11 during the Extra Life Stream.

  • I'm Already Dead - An RTX Journal

    LadyOddDuck

It's only Wednesday, y'all! RTX hasn't even started and I'm sunburnt and tired, but my heart is so full. I had an absolute blast today at the RT World/RT Austin/The BUS Pre-RTX meetup. Shoutout to @Giries for making sure everything ran smoothly.

Didn't make it? Never fear! Here's where you can find me at RTX:

    Tomorrow

2:15 PM - RT World Dairy Queen Takeover - For Charity!: Join myself and some other RT World admins for Blizzards at Dairy Queen. Dairy Queen is donating $1 for each Blizzard sold to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals! Details: https://www.facebook.com/events/2116332475272472/

    Friday

4:30 PM - How To: RT Community: Join several RT Community admins to learn all about running community groups! I highly recommend it!

7 PM - OCC Meetup at Frank!: Gonna hang out with those crazy cats in the OCC and probably stuff my face with a chili cheese dog.

    Saturday

12 PM - Social Activism & Charitable Work: Really looking forward to this one! Sounds super interesting.

3:30 PM - Extra Life: What RT Communities can do #forthekids: Join several RT Community admins to learn the ins and outs of running a stream for Extra Life!

    Sunday

12 PM - Oxford Comma Cafe: How to Have Discussions on the Internet: One of the longest-surviving forum threads will talk about how they have civil discussions online! Crazy, I know.

4 PM - Rooster Teeth Events Team: I assume this will be a feedback session of sorts like some other cons do. Either way, should be interesting!

I've got a couple other panels on my radar, but it all depends on timing and lines. And, of course, I'll be wandering the Expo Hall (probably mostly on Saturday). I will also have the RT Radio pins/badges on me! They are free with the purchase of a hug, high five, or "Hi, Duck!" If you see me and you want one, let me know!

What's on your schedule this weekend?

    ArnettV Gif Addict

It's been 7 RTX events and I'm not stopping now. That's right, I'm going to RTX again this year and I'm a panelist for not only one panel, but TWO!

I'm super excited to be focusing on the community aspect of RTX again this year. Going to as many other community panels as I can, hosting my own, being a guest on another, walking the floor, and meeting new people. It's what I love most about these events!

There's a few things I'm really excited for; getting my first set of D&D dice, I WANT THAT SINGING MORDIN PLUSHIE, and getting to see my Internet friends (and Austin) again.

    Panels, panels, panels!

You can see me on the How To: RT Community panel Friday, August 3rd at 4:30 in Room 8 of the ACC. Also on the Extra Life: What RT Communities can do #forthekids panel Saturday, August 4th at 3:30 in Room 8 of the ACC. What fun!

Guys, I'm super excited for this year and can't wait to see everyone again!

PS. Make sure to stop by BOTH panels for an awesome surprise for the attendees.

    Cheers!

Antharwn FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold RTNY Admin

Admins from over a dozen groups have come together with all their collective knowledge from RTX's past to present RT World's Ultimate RTX Pro Tips. Whether your a newbie or a veteran, there is fantastic information here for you! This 5 post series will be posted every Sunday throughout July 2018, leading straight up to RTX Austin.

Part 1 Important Things to Have & Bring (7/1)

Part 2 The Best Apps to Have on Your Phone & Staying Safe (7/8)

Part 3 Panels to See, Places to Eat and Things to Do

The Most Underrated Panels that We Recommend Attending are…

The Animation Panels (especially the smaller ones)

Behind the Scenes Panels (3D Animation, Broadcast, writing, music, etc)

    Dungeons and Dragons and Drunks

    Game Attack

    Kinda Funny

    The Live Action Panel

The LGBTQA+ Panel and/or Pride Panel

    Troadero Panels hosted by Nico

    The BIGBITE Panel

    The Oxford Comma Cafe panel

And all of the community submitted panels that were added back to the schedule this year!

Community panels tend to be less full but will have fantastic information and very interactive panelists. You can find a complete list here.

    RTWorld is bringing two panels:

Extra Life: What RT Communities can do #forthekids and

    “How To: RT Community”

In regards to the area around the convention center:

The convention center is downtown, and all of the streets are numbered. During the day 6th Street specifically can be a place to get a burger or take a leisurely stroll. At night the locals refer to it as Dirty Sixth, and tend to avoid the area. It’s big on parties and alcohol. If that’s not your scene, try some of the other locations on our list!

We Recommend Trying These Places to Eat or Get Drinks

    Walkable from the Convention Center

Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill 214 E 6th St (it’s really worth it if you can get past the waitress’s uniform, all ages and can accommodate large groups)

    Buckshot - 422 E 6th St (21 plus shot bar)

Buffalo Billiards 201 E 6th St (18+ for rtx badge holders Sunday 21+ the rest of the time)

Casino El Camino 517 E 6th St (great burgers for lunch)

    Chupacabra Cantina - 400 E 6th St.

Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que 217 Congress Ave

    Eureka! 200 E 6th St (under 18 welcome)

    Frank 2918, 407 Colorado St

Gus’s Fried Chicken 117 San Jacinto Blvd (everything is fried in peanut oil)

    Iron Cactus 606 Trinity St

Iron Works 100 Red River St

    Jo’s Coffee 4160, 242 W 2nd st

    JuiceLand 120 E 4th St

Le Cafe Crepe 200 San Jacinto Blvd A (small inside, maybe get it to go)

    P. Terry’s - 515 Congress Ave #130 (small inside, but a less expensive option)

    Roppolo’s Pizzeria 316 E 6th St

    Uncle Julio’s 301 Brazos St #150

    Voodoo Doughnut 212 E 6th St (open 24 hours)

    Which Wich 259 W 3rd St

Catch a Ride (these places are a bit more of a walk, so maybe consider a ride share app instead)

    Gourdough’s Big. Fat. Donuts. 3042, 1503 S 1st St

Home Slice Pizza 1415 S Congress Ave

Kerbey Lane Cafe 2606 Guadalupe St (multiple locations, this is the closest)

The Oasis on Lake Travis 6550 Comanche Trail

Torchy’s Tacos 1822 S Congress Ave (multiple locations, this is the closest)

Note, there’s usually food in the convention center but it’s typically more expensive, and likely won’t be the quality that you find outside.

If You’re Looking For Things to do Outside of RTX there’s...

Seeing the Bats from South Congress Bridge

Check out some of the parks in Austin. Like Zilker Park or Lake Travis

Check out the Capital Building. You don’t need to take a tour, just the lawn is a cool place and it’s free to go inside.

See a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse on 6th street (320 E 6th st) or catch a ride to the South Lamar location.

    Go Swimming at Barton Springs

    See Austin's Ghost Tours

Go to The Bullock Texas History State Museum (a bit of a walk, maybe catch a ride)

Try these Escape Rooms: The Escape Game Austin and Austin Panic Room

If you wanna Float the river, there are lots of options

Do some research around for live music, events that might be going on downtown, like farmer’s markets, or other special events.

Keep an eye on RT’s twitter for other ideas, as they often have suggestions too.

You can also rent bikes to get around.

Want to get a more native view of the city? Try Do512 or Austin360.

These are other things happening around RTX that are not RT ran, but still well worth doing!

Sidequest  Sidequest is a charity event around RTX that has events such as a charity gala, and barlympics!

The Bus is hosting a massive community cookout happening in Zilker park Wednesday before RTX starts.

Come back next week for more RTX Pro Tips! Our next post will be about community meetups happening at RTX!

  • So many communities packed into 25 hours!

Antharwn FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold RTNY Admin

This year, as Rooster Teeth hosted multiple communities on the official Extra Life Game Day. I personally made a goal to see at least some of every stream. I missed 1 as I was hosting an RT Radio set, but their admin was happy to fill me in on what I missed! Here is a short description of what happened during each "Hour of Power" this year.

    1. RoosterSpeak started us off with some fantastic Halo custom games. One of their featured maps was Rainbow Road and they had full or almost full games with the community the entire time.

    2. Beta Cats, and LGBTQ+ based in Austin, TX came with some GTAV custom games and all the members were in GTA Fake AH crew cosplay.

    3. Sour Grapes a gamer and prop builder group, were next and they played a VERY heavily modded version of Skyrim with over 200 mods active, including one that lets you use crescent rose and ride Godzilla.

    4. RT New Jersey played Golf with your friends and hit their $250 goal in the first 20 minutes of their power hour. And then had to come up with all new stretch goals.

    5. RT St.Louis and BIGBYTE playing Pokemon White 2. On top of receiving donations, they were also selling shirts!

    6. Constantly Calibrating & Stream Arizona teamed up and did a challenge competition where the losers got to drink hot sauce! These challenges produced many humorous artistic interpretations of Gavin, Michael, Sonic, and more.

    7. RT Houston played Duck Game and Jackbox Party Pack 4's Fibbage 3. They also reached a few stretch goals including drunk Mario Kart. Their power hour ended with members chugging bottles of Iced Tea.

    8. RWBY Nation played some GTA games with as many community members as they could fit into one game! Their snipers vs stunters was especially fantastic.

    9. RT New Vancouver played Quiplash and Fibbage and were bested by their audience at every match! Discussions on stream included Poutine and Canadian Healthcare.

    10. Rooster Buckeyes had 6 PC's with 6 viewpoints of Killing Floor and switching was done live and on the fly as different members joined each game. Quite the impressive setup.

    11. Rhode Island Rooster Teeth Community created paper Water Lillies in honor and memory of Monty Oum. One of their members also mentioned if you can't donate money, you can always donate blood!

    12. The Cartographers Guild played a Trauma Center game where each person on the stream read the lines for the different characters in the game, complete with character voices. And they drank a bunch of nasty coffee drinks!

    13. G1 Gamedays took the time to custom create RT Personalities in WWE 2K17. Including Jack Patillo, James Angel, Barbara Dunkleman, and Jeaune Arc. So many muscles.

    14. RT Nova Scoita was speed running Super Mario World while also executing stretch goals, specifically one where a member of the group was getting their head shaved.

    15. RT Austin / Side Quest played Gangbeasts. It was great to see Rick and Morty fighting pandas, luchadors and dinosaurs! Followed closely there after by RT's own Battlesloths!

    16. RT Michigan played some Overwatch custom games with crazy modifications including continuous Doomfist punching and low gravity, as they discussed their favorite RT shows, characters, and other questions from the chat.

    17. RT Oklahoma was single-handedly handled by Dustin. He played Bracketeering from the new Jackbox pack and the group participating decided that everyone should eat Reese's Puffs forever and we should all live in the Star Wars universe for 10 years.

    18. RT Ontario played Halo Reach while having their body's waxed! Each $20 donation to an individual equaled 1 wax strip on their leg. They raised over $4,000! They also discussed their personal connections to their local hospital.

    19. RTUK & Argentstreams. While others were working into the night, RTUK was on hour 23 of their 24 hour live stream. They played cup head while they talked to their chats and discussed Extra Life tattoos.

    20. RT NorCal spent their 2 Spooky hour playing PT, but, every time one of them got scared they did a shot of hot sauce. Talk about staying awake! #2spooky

21: RoosterTeethDFW had their "first annual games," where it was Blue vs Red vs Yellow. Depending on how well a team did in games like Starwhal and Ultimate Chicken Horse determined what ingredients went into their smoothie.

    22. RTNY played what they called the Unopocalypse where they played Uno, had Achievement Hunter rules enabled, and, for all special cards (like Wilds, 0's, Skips and 7's) they had different physical requirements. Like push-ups, squats, and jazz hands!

    23. RT Georgia, with 2 different cams set up in 2 different locations, played Keep Talking and Nobody explodes! "Spicy Sunrise" the name of a sassy character performed by a member dressed as an older lady, made an appearance!

    24. RWBY Cosplayers of South East Florida played RWBY grim eclipse! As they played they discussed many things related to rooster teeth and cosplay, as well as the the SNES.

    25. RT Florida closed it out. By the time the stream got to them, one of their members was in the process of being duct taped to a board, one was a TP mummy, and another was ranting about weapons degradation. But it was all #forthekids

It was so much fun to see what each group had to offer, how they were staying awake, and what fun challenges they came up with. If you weren't able to tune in, I highly recommend that you give it a try next year!

    Friends,

I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on Extra Life, what we've accomplished, and what we have left to do.

First of all, and perhaps most importantly, I'm humbled by the amount of people who have contributed to our mission of helping the kids at St Louis Children's Hospital. My daughter has been a patient in their ER, and currently uses some of their services, so this cause is near and dear to my heart!

We had a friggin' blast at our #ForTheKids2017 Extra Life stream last weekend! If you missed it, we'll be editing the footage down into Lets Plays, and releasing them every Friday for the rest of the year over at YouTube.com/BIGBITEMedia!

Between shirt sales and raw donations, we outpaced ourselves at the same point last year! With that being said, we still have work to do to beat last year's goal! The good news is, we still have nearly a month to raise money with the Shirts, and until the end of the year to raise these funds to help these kids!

I have to stop and thank everyone involved here. Huge shoutouts to Chii for cohosting with me and editing the footage, Jeremy for hosting the event, Dana for building the Minecraft sets, Les for making the shirt design, Michael for running our social media campaign, The incredible team of Jack, Chelsea, and Michael from RT for being awesome collaborators, and, of course the rest of Team BIGBITE/RTSTL for making this charity campaign and event everything it was!

Of course, I have to thank you, our readers, viewers, friends, family, and fans, for helping us out in our mission to raise money #ForTheKids! Also, I'd thank you to continue donating and sharing! You can still donate directly through the end of December at extra-life.org/team/STL, and you can still get the Extra Life shirt at Store.BIGBITE.Media through the end of November, and all of the profits will go to Extra Life! Additionally, half of everything else we sell at the BIGBITE store through the end of November will go to Extra Life as well!

Hey everybody! It's that time of year again where the community gets together and plays games to raise money for their local children's hospital. That's right, we're talking about Extra Life, and we're gearing up to stream again this year!

    856814-1509414382324-Logo-blue.png

Join us November 4th starting at 12:00 PM EST on Twitch as we play games in support of the Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville. A few of our members have been directly affected by this hospital, making us proud to support the establishment! You can help us by donating any amount on our Extra Life fundraiser page below:

    https://www.extra-life.org/participant/rtflorida

Do you have your own Extra Life stream you plan on hosting this year? Let us know and join our team! We want to help you. Your donations will help us reach our team goal of $3,000, and since we're also signed up under the Rooster Teeth Super Team banner, all that goes towards their total goal too!

    https://www.extra-life.org/team/rtflorida

Speaking of goals, we have our own. Our 25 hour RT Florida stream is working to raise $2,000 towards the Wolfson Children's Hospital. We know you're an awesome community and you'll help us break that in no time, but we also decided to give you guys some incentive and set some stretch goals for the group. Check them out below!

    856814-1509415111058-Stretch_Goals.png

To keep the stream fun and interesting while we're on our way to that goal, we have a full schedule planned out for you wonderful viewers. From games to shenanigans, we have a full menu for you keep yourself entertained with while you watch!

    856814-1509415105296-Game_Schedule.png

And hey, maybe you want something a little more out of your donation than self satisfaction. Well we have just the thing for you! This year RT Florida has its own exclusive Extra Life merch. Available until the end of Game Day weekend, you can purchase your own RT Florida Extra Life exclusive shirt or Pineapple Civil War print from our store. All proceeds go towards our $2,000 goal, and you get some snazzy swag out of it. Check them out below, or head to our store and pick one up yourself!

Just like last year, we have a lot of cool raffle items and prizes to give away. We've teased a few of the items below, but the rest will be officially announced later this week! All it takes to enter a raffle is a small $5 donation during an item's scheduled time. At the end of that slot, a winner or winners will be chosen at random, and contacted via email about their prize! You can only win one item during the stream, so choose wisely!

    856814-1509415740726-rafflesprizes.png

UPDATE: Raffle items have been announced along with their giveaway schedule. Check it out in the image below. We're very excited to display some local work from the community (like the RWBY Spray Paints) and are continuing our tradition of giving away another Burnie Burns Challenge Coin. And yes, you read that right. On Sunday, 8:00am EST, during our RT Community Power Hour, we are raffling off an Xbox One with a controller, and possibly even a game! All it takes is $5 to enter the raffle, however, there is only ONE entry per person. Remember, it's all to help the kids!

    856814-1509731777669-Raffle_Schedule.png

Last year we implemented a fun activity called the Hat of Horrors. This year, we've upped our production value and turned that hat into a wheel (we're not witches, we swear)! Donate $25 or more and you will be able to hear the tick tick tick of the wheel as we stand around in horror at what one of us is going to have to do. We also upped the stakes. Now, if you make a donation of $100 or more, we have a special list of activities to spin for that are far more dastardly than the standard ones!

Make sure to follow this post to stay up to date on our most recent Extra Life announcements!

    LoZelda Supposedly An Adult

Last year I didn't get to do Extra Life because I was barely 24 hours out of surgery, and I was super bummed. This year I'm going to be back at it again, with all kinds of ridiculousness for the kids! I am unable to stream on the actual Extra Life day, but have a few things planned over the next couple of weeks.

This Thursday, Nov 2, is my 1 year Cancerversary. It's the day I had my surgery to finally kick it in the butt, so I've been planning on celebrating it in style. I'm still doing Tiara Thursday, but it will be dedicated to the kids and will be a playdate bonanza with my community! I'll be playing Move or Die, Jackbox, Golf With Your Friends, and any other multiplayer game we can come up with. The stream will start at 3pm and go until 7pm so be sure to come hang out with us, join in on a game or two, and party for the kids! You can even set yourself a reminder by going to this event page!

You asked for it, LoLink said no, and I said "well what if it's for charity" and he couldn't say no to that, so we're bringing Dream Daddy back! On Nov 9 and Nov 16 we'll be busting out the silly voices and exploring the remaining story routes, because what better way to raise money for kids than to spend a few hours going "oh my gosh what even is this"? Don't want to miss it? Just like the playdate, you can set reminders for yourself here and here.

After all that I'll still have about 12 hours of Extra Life to cover, but don't worry! I have some plans for that too  blush Right now I'm waiting on some other info before I can solidify them, so you'll just have to sit tight for now!

Like past years, I've got some prizes to raffle off for donations! Custom string art, games, a custom character painting, and more are up for grabs. Every $5 you donate equals one raffle entry AND is cumulative, so it's never too late (or too early!) to donate and win yourself some neat prizes.

You can find my Extra Life page here, and I'll be updating my Events page on Twitch as I slot in new streams #4TheKids. Hope to see you guys in the chat!  purple_heart
