Nevermind. It was a smart move by Toshiba to make sure my ID wasn't stolen! I freaked out because I DID check to make sure that the number was legit, but that particular number isn't listed on the site. *phew* I'm extremely irked that someone is trying to scam me.
I'm not sure how, but SOMEONE got a hold of my Toshiba order number and left a message on my phone asking me to call some 1 800 number (this call is from a landline in New Hampshire, and Toshiba is located in Irvine, CA).
I'm on hold with the actual customer service number, and I'm trying not to rage. HELLO! MY DAMN INFORMATION IS IN THE HANDS OF SOME DICKWAD!
