Things I'd actualy pay money for In a desperate bid to get back into the swing of writing I'd like to talk about something very near and dear to me Money I love money and when a man as cheap as me is willing to part with it It definitely should be noted So... I'm going to try to talk about the things so awesome that, in this world of piracy and bootlegging and "Fair-Usage" I could get for free with varying amounts of effort. But am willing to pay for anyways
Where to start on these guys? I guess the only way to describe their music would be MEGAMAN ROCK OPERA Just listen Hope Rides Alone
awesome beyond belief they've just recently released a second album I would suggest buying both although there is a definate change in tone between the two
The first album simply titled "The Protomen" has a sort of Cyberpunk-rock sound feel to it often using riffs from the games themselves and 8-bit inspired synthesizers behind wailing guitars The Will of One
whereas the second album "The Father of Death" draws heavy inspiration from 1980's rock I'm honestly not sure what sub category it's called but I'm definately reminded of themes from movies Escape from new york and Rocky 3 and 4 especially ( In fact they even did a cover of No Easy Way Out from Rocky 4) Breaking Out is a good example of this
