Sorry I haven't been very active on here because I'm having too much fun right meow. But here's what's been going on with me so far:
I recently broke 1,000 total flying hours on my plane (C-17A Globemaster III) as a Loadmaster. It won't be long before I am considered for Airdrop/Instructor schools.
I have a new office job. Yes, even though flying is my primary duty, I also have "additional duties" that I must also do. For me that is working in the Squadron's Safety Office as a Unit Safety Representative as well as the Squadron's Facility Manager. So I have a lot on my plate.
I just received my Professional Development Guide (PDG) and am now studying that in preparation for testing for Staff Sergeant for the first time. I test sometime in Apr, May or June. Here's to hoping that I make SSgt on the first go.
I only have one class left for me to complete my Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) degree in Aviation Operations. I plan on taking my DANTES test for that class sometime next month.
Finally, I will be deploying again back to the sandbox sometime shortly after Christmas. Yeah, it sucks, but I signed up for the Air Force expecting stuff like this to happen. Thankfully I have things like the internet and Skype to make the holiday's a little easier on my folks.
So that's my life so far in a nutshell. I hope you all are doing well and are looking forward to spending the holiday's with friends and family.
