So random health fact for you Barbara on the short vagina comment. Back before I got married, my husband and I were required to take classes in the Catholic church and one of them was Natural Family Planning. In that class, we had to keep track of my cycle to learn when would be an ideal time to try for pregnancy and what signs your body gives for when you are less likely to get pregnant. One key thing that I had learned was that depending on where you are on your cycle, your cervix will move. Basically the "back wall" of your vagina may be closer or further. What potentially happened to you was that your cervix was lower and was hit. That probably caused the pain you were in. It might have not been that but I have a sneaking suspicion that might have happened.

I don't think anything is wrong with theater applause among the midnight release showing crowd for a summer action flick style film (or a Star Wars, since apparently those are incapable of coming out outside of winter) but I'm pretty sure unless the film is an instant masterpiece, you don't clap beyond day 1 of the film's release.

My worse experience at the hospital was the day I found out I miscarried my first. We couldn't find the heartbeat, they tried like three times with the Doppler machine. I ended up having to have a sonogram to see if maybe we were just not as far along as we thought, but learned that my baby had stopped growing a few weeks before my apartment. It was a very hard time for my husband and I.

OMG I JUST REMEMBERED I was at this party in like a small little granny flat with about 10ish friends and we all slept over and we were literally all just like lying on the floor, and at one point in the night I heard someone making out and in the morning i asked who was it was and no one said anything and then later in the day i was hanging out with two of my friends and one of them told me that she was actually sucking someones dick :')

I have no clue how I didn't realise it was dick sucking hahaha and there were literally about 7 of us lying on the floor idk why they thought that was a good idea

Now, I'm not an expert on female genitalia, but I feel like a catheter would be easier and less painful for a female as opposed to a male. Thoughts?

I am a woman and I can assure you that catheters are painful for us too. Our uretha is small too. It's a seperate hole from the vagina.

Not less painful, just a little less distance.  Side note, the shorter female urethra also leaves women more prone to UTIs.  Pee after sex people!

Not really, less distance to go so i suppose that could factor in but a vaginal urethra isn't any more wide or flexible than penal one

That last question, I'd suggest making your feelings known but also make sure they know that you're not going to persue it unless they say so. That way you're not friendzoning yourself, and if she doesn't end up with you then at least you told her and can move on without that baggage/question of what if.

James my advice would be to deffinelty stay friends with this girl, Becca was right when she said it's not your choice when the relationship ends. I think the best thing you can do is stay that person she vents to, always be there for her when she needs someone to talk to. When her and her significant other break up you will be the first person she thinks of when she needs to talk to someone. Good luck man.

I used to work in a movie theater in the late 80s and we used to have a real projectionist.. They were union and wouldn't touch the movies when one had to move from one screen to another. Nothing like trying to maneuver a platter with a feature length film on it through a narrow hallway. Good times...

Nowadays, I swear it's just pressing play on Windows Media Player....

Sadly, that's what it basically is. Most movie theaters went Digital, meaning it's like literally pressing play. Lower overall quality, but cheaper to distribute (~$50 now, to the $1,500 - 2,000 cost previously to produce each copy)

I've never been to see a movie where the theatre wasn't filled with people talking/phones going off, popcorn everywhere, families arriving late etc. Just looked up what the Alamo is and holy shit??? the chairs look so comfy and there are like full on restaurant menus! you can order food from!!? and best of all everyone has to behave?! I didn't even know these kind of places existed! I now get why everyone in america rages about going there. I hope they bring something similar to the UK at some point :)

I hate going to the movies. Too many people, the movie's usually too loud (I have sensitive hearing) and sometimes the seat is uncomfortable. As someone with sensory processing issues it's just not enjoyable for me at all. Even if it's a movie I really like.

Also having been to 6th street during RTX before, I will never go again. I had the worst hangover ever the next day. My head and stomach really hurt, I had to shit a lot, and I threw up. So fucking awful but goddamn the college students that are there are insane. My group of friends and I counted like 50+ chicks without bras, someone somehow noticed a few girl who were going commando, a dude who hand was up a girls dress, a girl rubbig her butt on a dudes crotch, and god knows what else because we could only remember those few pieces.

During Uni one of my housemates came home at like 3 am with a guy and started bangin. Unfortunately her room was next to mine so I heard far too much. This included after the bangin was done and the guy wouldn't leave, so my housemate went to get another housemate to ask the guy to leave. She was very embarrassed when she found out I heard... didn't stop her from doing it though.

The movies are fun but everyone I go with, no matter how shitty you know the movie is going to be, actually wants to watch it. I usually sit there and make fun of the movies, or find opprotunities for good jokes. Maybe that makes me an asshole, maybe it doesn't.

Someone being in a relationship doesnt matter to me. If i enjoy being around someone, i am going to try and be around them and do nice things for them as much as i can because thats what i want to do. Until such time as those things change i.e, being around someone who then doesnt want me around, i will continue to do that.

The first and most important step (in my mind) for the person longing for someone in a relationship is to take some time to do some serious soul searching of yourself.  You need to know if you really want to be with her, or if it's mostly/all lust.  Once you figure out your own motivations, you need to figure out if you are capable of being a good friend to her, without always angling for something more (consciously or unconsciously).  Being a friend to someone only to get something from them is not being their friend.  These are not easy things to determine, but they're things you really need to know about yourself before you can make a clear-headed decision.

Next, be prepared for whatever happens, should you decide to act on it.  If you decide to create some distance because you are unsure of your ability to maintain a genuine friendship given your attraction to her, it might be a good idea to let her know what's up so she doesn't have to suffer through thinking you ghosted her, or about what she may have done to lose your friendship.

Much like Becca, I met my SO when she was with someone else. She even had it in her mind that she was gonna marry him, because they had been together for so long. So, when we first met (we were both cast in a show, where we played two high schoolers who hated each other) I didn't think anything about the possibility of dating her. So, we became friends, and realized we loved hanging out with each other and talking with each other, and started having feelings for each other. The thing that lead to us dating, though, is the fact that she was not happy in her relationship at the time. At all. But, she thought that he was the only guy who would like her (completely different topic). Now, fast forward, and we have been together for three years (and I just ordered the engagement ring).

Now, this doesn't mean this is true for all circumstances like this, but I just thought I would add my story, since it applies to the Box of Issues. Great episode as always!
