McDonalds drive thru at night, the stereotypical teenage girl was gossiping to their friend who's serving them at the window. I was walled off from the exit and could not back up with the car behind me. The lady in the car behind her was yelling at them to move and I was getting pissed to the point where I wanted to take my strobe light out and blind that teenage brat to move. Mom calls and saved them from my fury. They leave the drive thru, park their car and just walks in the store. Cue death stare and flaming background.

my worst experience with road rage was when I was taking a friend home and she wasn't super certain which way to go, so I was being pretty hesitant through the roundabout, waiting for her to point me in the right direction. This total douchebag (like no shirt, super low slung sporty car type of douche) decided I was going too slow for him and leaned on his horn at me.

Now being the kind of person I am, I decided to go even slower just to spite him. He screams right up onto my bumper through the roundabout and then as soon as we're through the intersection, he veered into the oncoming lane, went around me and screeched to a stop in front of me in the middle of the road (middle of the day, tonnes of traffic) gets out of his car and starts screaming at me. Again, being me, I start screaming back at him, pointing out that I didn't know where I was going, I wasn't local and that he needed to have an some f**king patience

The entire time though, I had my left foot on the brake and my right ready to go on the accelerator because I was fully expecting him to try and swing at me, or hit at my car or something and I was ready to run that f**ker over if I had to
Eventually, apparently having realised that he wasn't going to make the little female sorry or feel scared for her life just because she hadn't jumped to obey his every command, and probably realising that I was about a minute away from just running him over, he got back in his car and drove off
My poor friend was so freaking terrified

People who don't turn their lights on during rains storms drive me nuts.

Please turn your lights on. You're almost invisible in the rain without lights.

i had a car in front of me a week or two ago come to a complete stop at a green light. it was like 10 at night, very little traffic, no one in front of the guy, the light had been green for as long as i could see it and he just casually slows down as if the light was red, came to a complete stop. i honked and he went. i will never understand how anyone can be that absent minded while driving. he didnt seem drunk either

Wait so Tim pulled up behind teens outside of San Francisco and flashed their lights at them? He literally reenacted the opening scene of Zodiac. No wonder the guy chased him, probably thought he was one of the most notorious serial killers ever.

So glad they are talking about infuriating driving situations. Last week I was driving up a hill up to a light but an 18 wheeler had broken down in the right lane, which was the lane i was in, right at the light. The light turns green several cars in the left lane proceed and as they do, and I enter the left lane. My signal is on and my right hand is up basically saying sorry for essentially cutting you off van behind me even though you very kindly waved me in thank you thank you. I did this with about 2 car lengths before the semi and there was only one car in front of me when i merged but there was a lot of merging space because every car in front of the van i had merged in front of already crossed the green light. As i merged the car in front of me speeds up merges into the left lane quickly and just dead stops. Light is still green. Im in a jeep while the driver with his passengers are in a small car that looks like a le saber. Light is green and no one is in front of this guy. Im staring at this car wondering what is up .The people in the van behind me look confused and both the passenger and driver have their hands up and cars behind me start honking so i figure i should honk. I do a small honk tap and all of a sudden boom the two in the back just straight up flip me off and im assuming were cursing at me. The driver and front passenger stick their arms out the car and also proceed to flip me off and the driver actually spits in my cars direction. Then the quickly speed off as the light turns red. I was so damn confused by the situation i didnt even get the liscence plate. I couldnt even say i was angry i was just flat out confused. Usually i know when i wrong another driver. But i honestly have no idea what i did to that driver to earn .... whatever that was.  Texas drivers be cray cray

There was a guy in my town who worked as a driving instructor and he had LED sign boards on the dash and in the rear window of his car that were controlled by a laptop and he would usually have positive messages displayed on them like "Instructional vehicle, please be cautious!" but he was also known to have his passenger type out things like "Turn your lights on nimrod." or "Look at the road not the phone." It was hilarious and everyone over the age of 30 hated it for no reason.

I've ONLY experienced road rage in Texas.

    (Not So) Fun Fact!
There's a gang that initiates new members by having them try and kill someone. How do they find their victims to attack? Well they drive around with their lights off until someone flashes their lights at them.
So yeah, that's why I don't fuck with that xD

Tbh I never really knew who Tim and Nick were, probably mostly because they're usually accompanied by Greg and he kind of demands your attention. But after some Know reads, the podcast, and this after-show, I have a much greater appreciation for these guys.

Driving anywhere around the city of Boston is awful, I've had so many road rage moments with tailgaters, swerves, no blinker turns, people trying to cut me off, or cut across 4 lanes at once. I can't wait for automated driving to be the norm.

Tailgaters are the worst. If I can't see your head lights in my rearview mirror, I slow down to minimize you rear-ending me because I need to brake suddenly for some reason. I also got flipped off once for slowing to a stop to turn into my driveway - which is a left turn at the top of a steep curvy hill, on a blind corner, had my blinker on 5 full seconds before turning, and an oncoming car the vehicle behind me couldn't see. Also got honked at once for stopping to turn left...because there were 4 cars coming at me and I didn't feel like causing a wreck. Oops, my bad I guess? All I can do is shake my head at the impatience of some drivers.

Where I live, there's no point in trying to drive crazy. Somehow, this town is designed so that you're simply not getting anywhere faster with or without traffic, casual driving or crazy driving. College people from out of town sometimes figure this out after living here for 4 months, but August through January is hell while kids and new professors keep trying to drive like they're in a huge city. The nice thing is, though, that one can just drive casually regardless what anyone else does and you'll get there at the same time as the ragers. Summers are awesome. It's always better when there are fewer ragers around.

Driving in this town is a KCCO kind of driving. I want to buy a couple of those billboards into town and explain that driving crazy just isn't going to help here.
