I'm generally not easily upset by things, but when Brandon cringed at her mentioning her period, I wanted to slap him. Get the fuck over it. Even if a man isn't married, single, ANY MAN needs to get the fuck over it. It happens, it's natural, you don't have to fucken deal with it so man up about it. You're not a tween, jeez.

I know Brandon usually gets a lot of flak just in general, but this was honestly the first time I had a problem with him. Periods are natural and shouldn't be upsetting to talk or hear about. I'm glad he was called out on it, and I hope he changes his attitude.

It's funny to me that Brandon thinks the sports industry is obtuse, yet cringes at period talk.

Same. It's even more funny because she wasn't even describing periods in any detail whatsoever, she literally just said the word 'period' in context of a massage like how on earth could anyone find that gross or upsetting.

Brandon must be the weakest man at RoosterTeeth. I think I am in the majority when I say that many times, I am face-palming when he speaks or reacts.

Brandon's comment about Janet Jackson being irrelevant now isn't wrong, but in another timeline where she wasn't punished for JT exposing her nipple or where it didn't happen, who knows? Maybe she'd still be around.

As the college athletes go, they do basically get paid. First the student athletes get the scholarships to attend school for free or almost free, then on top of that the big schools pay for all of their clothes if it is school sponsored, and then they receive a stipend for basically anything they want. For example in 2015 a lot of the students were riding the hover boards because that's what they spent their money on.

Gus, I do the exact same thing where I chew on the hairs on the back of my hand! You can't really notice bald spots though because my hair is blonde and I don't have very much of it on my hands for you to really be able to see.

There’s nothing cheesy about Tim Curry’s Pennywise. He was fantastic. Wasn’t his fault the rest of the 90’s IT didn’t perform up to his standard.

With massage, taking clothes off is entirely up to one's own comfort level. Massage therapists have seen it all and usually don't care either way. If it is an issue they typically will inform before session starts.  As for college sports paying the athletes in a way they already do by granting sports scholarships to the students. They are paying in labor playing the sport rather than with money.

      Regarding the sports scholarships:

A friend of mine in my speech class recently delivered a speech about why he believes college athletes should be paid. He is a student athlete and has some personal experience with how the system works.

Sports scholarships often only cover the cost of attendance for the student. The cost of attendance is the tuition and fees plus the calculated costs of food, transportation, and other things required to survive. The problem is: the cost of attendance doesn't allow for someone to build up a savings of any kind. If your income matches your expenses, you own't have any money left for emergencies or even to spend on yourself.

For someone to be a student athlete, they both have to do well in college courses (a very time consuming task) and they have to train constantly to keep at the top of their game. According to my friend I mentioned before, student athletes don't have any options when it comes to making money. There simply isn't enough time for them to be a student athlete and hold a job.

For an industry as big as college football is, and as risky as it is to be an athlete, there is little reason to not support some additional form of compensation for the students.

My friends and I would do the photo editing thing all the time for our design renderings while in college for architecture and would hide random things, like waldo, harambe, other friends, etc.,  in our images for presentations like midterms and finals.

Technically, sports wagering is only legal in Nevada but not for betting on teams in Nevada. So moving an NHL and NFL team to Las Vegas doesn't necessarily capitalize on anything.

Also the whole pay-for-play debate in collegiate sports is much more complex than you think; it's important to note that only a tiny minority (less than a dozen schools) have revenues that exceed costs for their entire athletic programs. Football and basketball are primarily responsible for bankrolling the other sports on campus. Again, there are plenty of other factors but that is a practical limitation.

I had that, I compulsively pulled out leg hair with tweezers and often times would fuck up my skin until it started bleeding, it's pretty gross but more common than people think
