You know how you prevent people from stealing your stuff? Be poor. See then you can't buy all those fun little gadgets that the unwashed hoards seem so intent on relieving you of.

The problem here (which ElGustavo tried to point out and most people seem to have ignored.) is that our social norms don't transfer to other cultures becasue they are based on OUR culture. THe problem here is that cultural foods are based around the wildlife in the area that the culture evolved, so across the world where we don't have the same animals and culture it can be very easy to say "You can't eat that, because we don't."
it's sheer hypocracy for us to say that something can't be eaten because it offends our delicate sensibilities when you consider that there are as many things that we eat that aren't in acceptable to other cultures (like pork).
    great poddy guys!

Dude, don't kill the man. It is obvious that most of your fan base is younger then the PS2. Just because they can't get out of middle school, it doesn't mean their opinion, as wrong as it my be, isn't worthy of consideration.

It doesn't matter how smart the dolphins are, the problem is that the dolphin population is diminishing fast. If Dolphin populations were like deer populations (so massive that they endanger themselves through overcrowding and not enough food) then no one would care.

gus theres an international ordinance against the slaughtering on a massive scale of one of the smartest animals in the ocean, its perfectly legal (except in india but definitely not in the us) against eating cows
and jack has a good point, dolphin meat is heavily laden with mercury and is starting to cause birth defects in poorer neighborhoods. the japanese have also denied that they are harvesting dolphins at all, much less trying to prove it legal, even if theyve been harvesting it for awhile

im an aerospace engineering major and i can tell you we definitely landed on the moon the costs for it were astronomical but all of that technology really did and does exist. the reason we haven't gone back since is because politically NASA funding seems extravagant and no president since John F Kennedy has been willing to provide unlimited funding and a clear unified goal for NASA.

the moon offers alot. for one thing if we leave it alone then china or india or anyone not us will have stake in a base there.

they recently found alot of frozen water there actually which could support a base.

and if we want to go to mars launching from the moon would be a hell of alot cheaper then from earth because like statistically half of the fuel needed to launch things into space is just to get out of earth's atmosphere.

Zaeed came as a code with the game if you bought it new. If you bought the game used, then you could buy the DLC for the Cerberus Network.

Gus makes a very good point on the dolphin thing, but I have this rebuttal:
Sure we eat tons and tons of cows, an animal considered sacred by Hindus, but we also mass produce (or whatever the term is when it's an animal, not a product) the cattle. Many species of dolphins are endangered, most are at least threatened. Of course this leads into discussions about Tragedy of the Commons and environmentalism, but we're not going to.

I'm just saying it's not just because we perceive dolphins to be special is the reason that the Japanese should slow down the dolphin hunting.

Curious thing about the girls developing earlier, is that the same thing is happening in Europe, where they do not allow all the hormones like they do here in the states.

What is also interesting about the invisible fire, is that would be fire's "natural" state. Since fire burns colors depending on what element is most prevalent. Like, how Iron burns red, and magnesium burns bright white. An Ethanol fire like that is clear because there is nothing to burn that gives flames color.

Gus has it right - Fallout: New Vegas is great, but it is horrifically buggy at times and the loading screens are justifiable causes for homicide.

    Great podcast guys.

    Ok;
    A. That British actor who was in Tropic Thunder and Night at the museum is a UK Comedian called Steve Coogan.

    B. The invisible Ethanol fire is INDY CAR, NOT F1!
And that was quite a while ago, and they put ethanol in the cars cos it didn't explode like petrol did when they crashed.
However nowadays they use a mix s it don't blow up but the fire ain't invisible neither.
