    Dear Jack

One really big reason for LA having so many popular youtubers and such is because it is in the state with the largest population in the United States.
The population of California is so big there is actually more people in that one state than the entire nation of Canada.

robot cars would be crazy. insurance would definitely go down cause its based on the probability of accident.
also the cost of owning a car would diminish based on chris' point that people can just share cars. while im at work my car would be picking someone else up for work. very fun concept

it's kinda crazy that the US think a 6.1 is an earthquake when in my country it's like 'meh' xd the world is so big and has so many cultures and different people it's fascinating *-*

When we were young my family/dad owned alpacas. We kept them on a friend's property. It was an alpaca farm that we visited and helped out at quite a bit. We also had a bunch of them in our own backyard at one point. I was pretty young though so I was never able to do too much. Still, it was pretty cool. They all had names and stuff. I still remember a few of them. You could tell them apart quite easily.

It's nice to hear the RT guys talking about Google Fiber.

Maybe one day my phone will beep and Burnie will be asking me why his Google TV service is out.

i always forget that the US doesnt currently use the quick 'PayPass' system where you just place your credit/debit card next to a sensor at the cash register or a vending machine and its paid for (up to the equivalent of around 15-16 usd) so buying something small takes literally 3 seconds.

Where I'm from, which is Poland, I feel like every single shop, even the tiniest grocery store, has it and has had it for good 2-3 years

So you guys don't get earthquakes in Texas? I grew up in California so it completely baffled me to hear that Jack has lived 30 something years and never been in an earthquake

Nah, we get tornadoes instead. And living in California for about 15 years I think, I don't think I experienced any major earthquake, at least none that woke me up or that I was awake for.

Jack is no where new. Chris has been at the most in 5 of them. Maybe 4. As for Jack he's been in it since number 20 and started to tune in more around 35 to 40. Not new. Just been gone for a while.

Ok. So the comments on Google Fiber in Kansas City where Burnie mentioned Overland Park being the first place to get it. It will most likely actually be the last place to get it. Overland Park hesitated, and Google said "Ok. Guess you don't want it bye!" OP will be the last city in the KC metro area to get Google Fiber. As a resident, I. AM. PISSED. Might end up moving to a different suburb like Lenexa or Shawnee or something. Also I was one of those people who said "damnit!" when Burnie mentioned they might have moved to Kansas. That would have awesome!

On topic of the chip and pin cards, I was solo shocked when I lived in America and I never had to use my pin for anything. NZ is ALL chip and pin. It's rare if you have a card without a chip, and virtually no one signs rather than uses a pin. The set up America has seems so dangerous. The number of people asking for my ID was way lower than people who didn't.

I've experienced an earthquake while I was at a swimming pool complex. The water doesn't move as much as you'd expect, but all the chains rattle and we were worried our big diving tower was going to collapse! It was pretty calm compared to the ones I have been in though ha. Living in NZ calls for many earthquake experiences.

Worst place to be in an earthquake is on a motorcycle...on a bridge.

I know a dude who survived the '89 quake like that.

That monkey story was told wrong.
The monkey wasn't ruled human, it didn't own shit.

The owner of the camera was suing on the behalf of the monkey and wanted the monkey to have rights.

    • Sowab

Huh? That's not right. According to the owner he set up the photo but had the monkey press the button. Wikimedia or whatever argue that it doesn't matter if he set it up, it was the monkey that took the photo, and so it belongs to the monkey.
....Either way, neither the photographer nor the monkey gave permission for the photo to be used.

That rent goat and they thought he bought it skit is from a Top Gear episode. Chris is using other peoples stories/jokes.

Except of course for the obvious: Him and Brandon went to try and rent a goat and ended up buying it. If I so chose, I could go out and buy a goat myself and try to return it, then I would have the same exact scenario to tell in a story. Gee, it's crazy how two distinct humans can incur the same set of actions with no reference to one another.

Fun little fact; Burnie was talking about the jump from a million to a billion and it's true, people don't really realize how freaking much a billion really is. If you were given just ONE billion dollars on the day you were born, you would have to spend $34,246 every single day of your life, in order to spend it all by the time you die, assuming you make it to 80 years old. Yes please.

Re the massages: Both my parents actually get full body massages once a month, it helps with their physical health. My sister and I both have back problems and GREATLY enjoy getting massages. I don't get them as often as once a month but I wish I did.

They're also deep tissue Chinese massages that feel GREAT.
