Funeral Update
Well the funeral was held yesterday for my friend. It was a nice service but still pretty rough. Weather outside was pouring rain and when we saw his casket put into the hearse, the door close and then see it drive off to Thunder Bay, Ontario for cremation everyone just broke down. It was incredibly sad.
I'm leaving today to make the long drive back to Athabasca, Alberta from here in Dryden, Ontario. It's about 1500 kilometers give or take an hundred. I know it's going to be longer driving back then it was coming here. I'll stop at the accident scene here in Dryden one more time before I head back and see his parents again too.
For all those people out there who have good friends who live far away like mine did, try and find the time to make it out to see them. I know I should of more often, and now I'll never get the chance again.
