There was a story on g4tv that they are looking into the possibility of putting it on the consoles. I don't know any of the details or how likely it is, but at least it's still a possibility. I just think it'd be pretty dick to do to all the bioware kotor fans who got into bioware and the star wars old republic setting on the xbox, and just leave them out in the cold by shifting it completely to PC
Yeah but you would need subscription fees, without XBL, it could end up AU$120 ish for a month of KOTOR. It would suck. But i guess it could be free since this is what XBL's subscription fee is supposed to pay for.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed in the 200-odd pages, but having been told how good KOTOR was by a friend, and being the RPG fan that I am, i got a copy of it on ebay. Here's the problem now, I don't have an original XBOX, and while I've been assured that it's backwards compatible, I've also heard that some of the newer model 360's aren't backwards compatible, I'm just wondering if someone could clear this up.
I don't know about that, but having played KOTOR on a 360 I can tell you it has a tendency to lag. I let my friend borrow KOTOR and he told me he couldn't have 3 Jedi in his party at a time because it would lag really bad when they all used lightsabers. I never made it that far in the game on my 360, so I'll take his word for it.
I've been trying to get back into this game, but can't let myself pt down MW2. But I think I'm gonna do it now. It's such a good game! I love it so much. Now the question is, do I want to be good, or do I want to leave a path of death in my path? Hmmmmmmmm.
So I just started playing KotOR again, and when i went to download the free Yavin Station DLC, a message popped up saying I'm not connected to Xbox LIVE. Did they take down that DLC? If they did I'm going to be pissed because I loved the saber crystals you buy from there. Is there another way to get it?

Original Xbox live is gone. I'm not 100%, but that most likely included any DLC support for the games.
I played kotor 1 god knows how many times when it first came out that was the only rpg i played except jrpgs like final fantasy and i think thats what got me in to rpgs they was some of my favorite games i played the first one was a lot better than two
