Do not mention the name ever again... I lost count of the number of hours I had to sit on the phone listening to Lindsey (my gf) talk about what she was going to go tommorow in Animal Crossing...
Thankfully, she got tired of the game, or else I would've had to smash the gamecube, and I wouldn't have wanted to do that.
at first when i got it I HATED IT i know its hard to get a grip on......but as i played it over time i started to like it and now that its scratched too much to play im depressed.......
I think it will be a Nintendo classic like Mario or Link soon. Oh Nibbish, I know how you feel. My gf did that to me, but she still likes it, not obsessed with it as she was.
Sadly I've spent well over 2,000 hours on the GCN version! I'm looking foreward to playing for free online with the NDS version. - Screenshots: That touch screen is going to be nice if we can send messages, design fabrics, and organize our inventory. It'll be nice to be able to interact on the top screen while managing stuff on the lower one as well.
the first summer i got it, i would wake up at 6 in the morning to go to arobics and catch fish/bugs that only come out in the morning. I would play it at least 3 times a day. I payed off two houses completely.
I cheated. I work midnights, so my schedule is screwed up. Since I'd play when I got home (before the store opened) or on my days off at the same time I'd be at work (after the store closed) I'd just set the time on my gamecube to where I wanted it to be from the last time I played until I got to the current time.
I haven't played it in over a year, to be honest. Although with the wifi connectivity, I might pick it up for the DS. I never had anyone else to play it with, so it should be interesting...
I love this game! It is so freakishly addictive. One day as I was walking to school I saw a little bug on a flower and as it started to fly away, I actually started to swing a 'net' at it... That is a deffinite sign you've been playing too much.
just what ever you do, do not change the date or time. I thought it would be more fun to cheat and skip days by changing the date and doing stuff faster, but the game then bored me. Oh and if you save up something lik 10 million bells you get a letter from the bank stumbling through about how insainly suprised they are of this etc, how in the world did you save that up, etc. one of the greatest moments of the game.
Animal Crossing...Addicting...Allows you to hit things with butterfly nets...animals talked....It was like a 24 hour high...that was good for you...sort of...
