Talk about the Dragonball series in here. what was your favorite series/saga/fight scene.
My favorite saga is Dragonball Z. My favorite saga was the Cell Saga. My favorite fight scene was Super Saiyan 2 Goku vs. Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta at the begining of the Buu Saga
Well i havn't seen all of cell or freiza saga because i only started watching it but Dragonball is just really funny and GT is just... yeah dont get me started.
I love Dragonball Z. It has been one of my favorite shows for the longest time. The Cell Saga is the best one because Gohan kicks ass. Gohan is also my favorite character. One of the youngest, but he is always up there with the big boys kicking ass.
Probs my favourite cartoon for no perticular reason. I really like the original Dragonball series, I aint seen that much but its just funny and makes me laugh.
I've always been a big fan of the Dragonball series, it was one of the first anime series I saw.
I like Dragonball the best of the 3 personally.
DBZ is good too though, I liked all 3 sagas (Frieza, Cell, Buu) probably equally, they all had their hight points and low points.
DBGT isn't as good IMO, however the ending was great. I HATED the way DBZ ended the series, but DBGT made a come-back ending wise and ended the DB trilogy on a nice note.
The only bit of GT i like is when Goku turns SSJ4 and then fused together with Vegeta to make Gogeta. The fights are really, really drawn out and i would love to see the original japanese versions of DBZ to see how much it really did get censored.
Mostly it was blood, nudity, and cussing they cut out. Example, when Freiza killed Krillin they didnt show his chest exploding in the Cartoon Network version. I also found out that FUNimation actually condensed/cut out parts of all three series. There are are more of the Japanese episodes than there are American. Example of that is with GT. The first 10 episodes (I think) in America are called "The Lost Episodes". Lost my ass, they took them out then deicded to bring them back to help fully explain some of the events that take place later (like when Goku gathers all the energy from the entire galaxy to defeat Li Shenlong).
Is that going to be in Japanese? If its not don't bother buying it. Plus, I thought Funimation doesn't own the rights to the first 62 english episodes. Anyone know?
Two versions,English and Japanese. That is how Funimation does all of their DVD's. I think that Funimation bought out the company that did the original DBZ voices and then used their voice actors. They now own all the rights to the English versions of DB, DBZ, and DBGT

Apprently they got the rights, because they are re-dubbing it and re-releasing it. Or so I hear.
And it will be able to switch between English Audio and Japanese Audio.

I've seen that! I thought it was funny. I stopped watching DB ANYTHING when I was like 11. I didn't like dragonball that much. DBZ was so awesome. The namek and frieza saga was the best! DBGT is cool, but kind of stupid attempted-humor wise. I'm watching dubbed american tv, so you know...
Dbz was by far the best, Dbgt sucked ass, I remember when baby came out of that guyz body, and gotens like- this guy is a gigillion times stronger than buu, and baby didnt do anything, and his voice was just the MOST ANNOYING THING ON ThE PLANET! The people on there look like crap, give em better clothes, like trunks for example, HE LOOKS SO STUPID! Db was alright, it needed better music. Dbz was the best, but after cell it got gayyyy. I think cell games was the best, since i got hooked on it while eating burger king on the eps. when cell tells trunks about the tournament. Cell games saga was by far the best, and I like either the fight scene when SSJ2 Gohan vs Perfect Cell...or Ssj2 Goku vs Ssj2 Majian Vegeta
I think GT broke away from the mind set of the first two series. It was too apocalyptic in some parts. Still I love the whole thing. Not as good as some anime, but a fucking good watch.
