My personal favorites are the 40k books, and I especially like Dan Abnett's work: the Eisenhorn trilogy and the Gaunt's Ghosts series. I'm currently searching for the Bloodquest stuff. It's the graphic novel series about the disgraced Blood Angels. Is the series still available? What are your favourites?
I've only just begun to read the Warhammer 40,000 novels. I've read a few Warhammers that were not of the 40,000 series and they are fabulous too...well, most of them. I'm reading one by Goto right now. "Dawn of War".

hey, fellow 40k fans. im actually trying to write a short story based on a White Dwarf battle report, which was Tyranid vs. Imperial Guard. i want to try and get it into a short story collection, so i need feed back!
I never did think the 40k books would be very good. the characters seem so 1 dimensional. no conflict. I threw out some warhammer stuff in my journal. check it out if your interested. rvb.roosterteeth.com/members/journal/entry.php?id=844011
The best warhammer novel.. is The Inquisitor war... no doubt about it. I mean all the races are in the book. And lots of background information about all the races.
