Goldeneye 007 for the 64 and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent are two different games, based around two different movies with different storylines.
I've played both and honestly, I just couldn't be bothered continuing the XBox game. However, the 64 game was an absolute thriller. They should change the gamecube forum to the nintendo forum.
I know what you mean. I've only played two of them, and neither of them gave me the same feeling other 1st person shooters did (like Halo 2, XIII, etc)
i played golden eye, that one was awesome for it's time, now it's a classic, not played but remembered.agent under fire was no where near as good as golden eye.
I admitedly only played Rogue agent in story mode for about twenty minutes. I found that the hud was way screwwy. if you ahd auto aim on you didnt even have to put teh cursor on your target and teh bullets would find their way to your enemy. However turn auto aim off and you lose the cursor as well. So you often times waste an entire clip trying to aim in on a guy who's more than ten yards away from you. Your bullets hitting everywhere but him and yet they have pin point accuracy "too bad the AI doesnt have the option to turn auto aim off".
I did however like the deathmatch. The levels were cool yet. If you play it on split screen the visual quality is cut in haldf to run at optimal speed. If youw ere to see Rogue Agent in split screen you would be appalled by how bad the graphics are. However on story mode the game looks much better. The gun models are great.
I thought rogue agent was much better than the others. The whole eye technology thing was pretty gay. i really never used it unless i had to get somewhere by it. I think the whole eye tech. thing was a desparate attempt to make the game look good. Bond games are good in themselves you dont need some weird technology to try to get an "advantage" over the enemy.
