One of the best side scrolling shooters ever, in my opinion. what do you think?

Of course it is. Its hella hard on XBox, though. You can't put more quarters in.

its hard as hell on xbox, i dont know whats harder this or Ninja Gaiden Black: Eternal Legends mission on Master Ninja difficulty

farthest ive gotten is in space, up to the part inside a ship or something

Eternal Legend is harder.......well i am just goin on a logical guess.......but i don't play the xbox version of metal slug.....i play the real arcade version.....my grandpa owns a metal slug three arcade machine and i always unlock the change container so i can keep reusing my quarters.

Yeah metal slug is great.Is the best game on the arcades with king of fighters.Is a good game, and it is very important for Neogeo so they are always making new games like metal slug 6.And is cool that you can modificade or change the MS pictures ( as my avatar)or make your character.
Well metal slug is an old game but one of the best.
You can make new characters like this:

Metal Slug 3 trumps them all. The last level and is too much fun for it's own good. Also ridiculously hard
