I've seen them in magazines, the kind where you walk around the board. My only problem is, after the fifth or sixth hour, my legs might be a bit tired.
In reply to monopoly_j, #19: at one time I had all the starwars monopoly even the rare trillogy COLLECTORS edition not the trillogy edition. It came with 5 brass tokens and the figures were different.I think the money was different too.I also had the episode I set too it was 3 diminsional with the properties raised off the board and the houses and hotels were buildings on corascant.
I have a really old edition from when my parents were kiddies. It's not an original, but it's definately far from new. It's so beat up now from all of the playing I did years ago. I have the PC version and the Palm version, but neither seems to hold the same appeal as the actual board game. Nothing the the feel of money (even if it isn't entirely real) in your hands. Somehow the digital version doesn't quite hold up. :-D
I agree with you there. Counting out the money manually and seeing it all lined up before you just doesn't compare to pretty graphics and animations. About the only reason why I'd get a digital version is for online play.
I used to play it on my Palm against my friend on the bus to class using the infared on it. That was sweet. I'd go crazy when I'd she'd land on my Boardwalk with a hotel on it and you can only imagine the looks I'd get. Ha ha. It was great.
