Hamachi broken last I checked, and new laptop doesn't have Rosetta. Sorry.
I could probably get the Windows version of SC running via WINE, but then I've still got the Hamachi problem. Might play around with it and see if I get any promising results.

What are you talking about? I wasn't trolling. I'm serious. SC2 is really bad and the new adjustments in Heart of the Swarm only make the game even more retarded.
I agree with you, but remember this is only the beta. Blizzard already announced that they're fixing the warhound and maybe the swarm host in the first HOTS beta patch which will be coming out sometime soon. As a protoss player I hate how protoss got the shaft in HOTS...
I see nothing wrong with that. The warhound made mauraders pretty useless and threw off the balance of the game completely. They didn't really fit in to begin with.
The point isn't that they took out a unit that was already imbalanced. If that's necessary that's necessary, but the fact that they made such a massive blemish in development is laughable. SC BW never had those problems where a unit was so bad that it had to be taken out.
But whatever. Ignore my hate and enjoy the game. I don't have a problem with that. I'm just a disgruntled BW elitist that hangs out all the time on ICCup hoping to play when no one is on to play. Gotta go hang with the Koreans instead.
In my opinion it's hard to compare games that are over 10 years old to now. It's just a different playing field entirely. Although I agree they did promise more mech style gameplay for Terran which was the purpose of the Warhound. I am disappointed as well that there isn't a replacement or tweak to it instead. But shit happens I guess. I wouldn't say the game is any "worse" because of that.
