I posted this in another topic, but seeing as it's modded -12 now, not many people are going to see it. Just a few lines i could see happening in the future of strangerhood:
person 1: "he dosen't even talk like an old black man" person 2: "what do you mean? he's always giving advice and such... telling us how it was in the old days...why we should respect him" person 1: "no!... he sounds like a white guy impersonating a black guys voice" Wade: "you think he's an alien, man? that would be awesome!" everyone: "shutup wade"
Kind of saw the freaking-out thing and all coming, so I guess somebody needs to write new material for Wade and Sam.. especially if they're going to be living in the same house.
(Man. Wade and Sam in the same house.
That's kind of hot.
But that's off-topic.)
Dr. Chalmers is pretty funny; I didn't really like him the first time around, but a subsequent watch had me appreciating him more. Wonder if he's the sort who writes his name in his underwear... :/
pretty stereotypical if you ask me... but whats funnier than a well done stereotype? Oh did anyone notice the iron chef was playing on the tv? wonder how they did that...

He doesnt sound like a old black man, in my opinion because..."hello youg males"....please, how does he go form grumpy about being some where and find to caucasian men there...IF anything, there should be some inner dialogue(like as in what he is thinking) gotta be some racism for him to be an authentic old black man, and atleast some cursing... he was way to nice to wade, to patient. after a couple a seconds he would say " Boi what is wrong wit you" "did yo mama smoke crack when she as having you....shit...taking bout another mans under wear...Im a Grown ass man, dont ask me about my under wear" that would make more sense.

Not all blacks are ghetto, you know. Like any other group, you'll fnd all kinds of personality types.
And they did have him doing inner dialog. All of what he said when he was alone was inner dialog.
exactly. sometimes it would sound perfect, other times it sounded like the guy just couldn't get his voice deep enough, or tried too hard. like his nose was stuffed and he had to fart.
Overall I thought he was the second-funniest character (guess who I think was #1 :) He had some funny lines, and I kind of like the pseudo-black voice. It sounds like a kid trying to talk like Mr. T. And it's funny. But, the words are sometimes slurred and it's hard to understand what he's saying. I bet that what he said at the very end of the episode was funny, but too bad I couldn't hear it.
I also love that he's so snobbish. "This couch is perfectly ridiculous." "I need to speak to somebody who can speak please," that line had me rolling. I thought that he had a bit too much screen time in this episode, though. You could have cut out the whole TV-watching bit, and still gotten the point across.

You can put video files in one of the Sims 2 folders and have them play on your tv.
it wasnt an iron chef clip, it was definitely sims acting out an iron chef type show. however, i started a seperate thread about that so... guess ill shut up now
