I rekon that they should have wepons in the sims. . . .like guns and swords and crap like that wich is cool and they should be able to cut the other sims heads off wich would b even more better nad funnier. . . . . .
it would be nice if when your sims did something like play a game, you could choose to play it too. And it would be cool if you could go to work with your sim. In sims online you could do that and i thought that was fun.
The one thing I think they need is an answering machine. Think about it this way: one of your Sims is working on a skill. They've almost got it, they just need to keep at it for a little longer. Or your Sims come home tired from work and need to sleep right away. Or your Sim is going to work in the first place and leaves the lot. Then the phone starts to ring. And ring. And ring. And ring. And ring. And it doesn't stop for the longest time! If you do answer, what is it? One of their friends complaining that "I haven't heard from you in a while!" I think they should add an answering machine object so that after three or four rings, a message gets dumped into the machine. Later, your Sim can check the messages and receive a list of the people who called, complete with an option to "call this Sim back." That's my idea, anyway. I've made it often on the Sims BBS. Here's hoping.
Definitely an answering machine. It's SOOO annoying when your Sim is at work and they have 8 people calling them. And calling them. And calling them...
Weather would be super cool, too. Especially electricity going out like JuFu suggested.
No doubt pets will be coming in an expansion pack later, as well as weather. Cars would be hard to do, because you'd have to buy them and the choices would be rather limited. That and it'd work the same way as a taxi, your Sims get in it and drive off the screen and then a map pops up and you choose a place to go. Being able to customize the clothing and wallpapers would be cool, then again, I just like choices.
As for the answering machine idea, that's a really cool thought...maybe they'll make one someday or simply new kinds of phones. We've had the same two choices ever since the first Sims came out. Not everyone has a pale yellow phone.
I was so excited when they finally let us got to college with our Sims (instead of everyone being a bum after highschool) so I'm hoping that the ability to go to work with your Sims will come about as well, though I don't know how. I mean, not everyone has all their Sims go to work and so it makes more sense to watch over the house and the Sims there then to go to work with the Sim where you wouldn't really be able to control them other than to perhaps interact with collegues and actually 'do work'.
Oh and Maxis isn't going to be adding weapons, too many younger kids play this game. Plus, The Sims is about a relatively safe realism, the only real reason they come to harm is because of something we do, such as remove the ladder from the pool or trap them in a room that contains only a sidetable.
I think they need too least remove the censor blocks and move up to a M rateing I mean the game is so popular that the new rate will not effect the sales very much if not all. They readly do need to add a object creator, guns, a unlockable super item ie: a item that will give perfect skills mood, and needs and maybe boost friendships
They need to add the Pepsi Machine, without having to Download it for their Website. And I'd like my sims to carry the bottles with them ,and drink when I tell them, instead of them immediately chugging the entire drink. They should also add Dr. Pepper.
And Cars with like 3 Garage Doors that you can select from all the other doors. I would totally buy that Viper. Maybe they should add more cars, like the Saleen S7. That would look nice in my driveway. We could Use these cars to travel to our Friends' Houses in our neighborhood.And we wouldn't have to worry about a carpool, because it'd be right there in our own garage. Like Makin' Magic, where you start with a Small amount of Magic stuff, in this expansion, you would automatically start with One Bike, per Adult Sim
Texture editor that allows you to upload images from your PC (Imaging having the MC on your wall!) That could create Wallpaper, Clothing, Wall Decorations, or Even Texture on Some Objects! Even TV Channels! You could also add your own sound to the new TV channels you created. (CABOOSE HOODIES!)
More computers
LEGOs For the Kids! We could watch them build one of several different possibilities, and then play around with it, and when an adult walks in the room, he/she would step on one! That would be cool to see.
A Desk-Bed that is like a Bunkbed, but has a computer desk underneath instead. I don't always have room for that big, bulky desk and chair. (You could also put a chair underneath, instead of having it jutting out)
A Workbench to make Scale Model Cars to work on Mechanical or Logic, or Even Creativity. These Cars would be Just like the cars available to buy, and change either randomly, like Paintings, or change depending on skill.
A Third Floor, and a Basement.
Washing Machine and Dryer. Then, You'd be wearing your Extra Pair of Clothes. And Whenever a sim changes, their old clothes may end up on the floor, or in a Basket, depending on thier Neatness. This system would work similarly to Trashcans. Except when a Sim is washing Clothes, those clothes are not available. And the clothes must be put away when they are cleaned.
Death by Choking. They could Walk, and Do stuff and everything, but talk... or Breathe. They could call the Paramadics to come help, if he was alone.
Computer Software Application. If a Computer is designated +2 Fun in the item info, then there could be CDs that you could buy that Add a set number of Fun to the Computer, but only one CD can be used at a time, so if you clicked Play on a computer, there would be another Menu that would pop up, offering all the games you had bought, and installed on the computer. Every computer would have a CD rack next to it, and the CD would appear ONLY next to the computer you installed it on, so You'd have to buy multiple disks. There could be games like The Sims, and other EA games.
Video Game Consoles for The Sims 1 (And they would look EXACTLY like the Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube, and cheaper ones that offer less fun, that look like older systems (N64 PS1, NES), and when the Next Gen consoles come out, have them as downloadable content) They could Even include Gameboys, DSs, and PSPs. Games work the same way as Software above.
Is there a Black Potion on the Sims 1 (Livin' Large)? I remember something about that... It's supposed to kill your sim, but I'm not sure it's real. If it isn't, there should be one. The Sim should be easily revivable.
More Lava Lamps. Those are cool.
More TVs (Maybe a HUGE one, Three Spaces Wide!)
Obituaries in the Paper. Your Sims will read of your Mass Murdering of whole 8-member families.
Wristwatches. Why not?
A remote that can actually get lost in the couch cushions.
Weather (In the Snow, you could make Snowmen or Snow Forts! If you built Snowforts, you can have a snowball fight! Some Storms make the Power go out!)
Multiple Firemen for Larger Fires (Don't you hate when Dragons Sneeze? I've seen one sneeze and light an entire 8x10 living room on fire!)

Gnomes, Gargoyles, and the Scale Models and Paintings mentioned above should Raise the room rating.
Servo stays active unless you turn him off yourself, and he calls Services when they are needed (ie Fire Dept.) Or he can do those services himself. either way.
Firefighters (Possibly Servo) can no longer catch fire (Fire protective suits for Firemen, and Servo is Metal)
Deodorant in the Mirror that lets you brush your teeth.
Counters can be opened, and have storage ability. Also, sims must get a pot to cook food, instead of it appearing out of nowhere, and disappearing again.
Deadbolts, buy from Build mode and put on doors. They would appear on doors above the doorknob/handle

The Ability to go Online on Forums on computers (+ Social)
VCRs and DVD players that work similar to the Computer Software thing above. they Add Fun to the TV.

They already have Hay furniture, and a Cardboard Box table, so why not a Cardboard chair, Couches, etc.
A poker table that you can either play for cash, or play for nothing. Invite some friends for a few hands!
*Shrug* I always thought a play pin in the Sims 2 for the babies and toddlers might be kinda cute... But that's me. Right now they have to be in the crib or on the floor... and it just irks me sometimes because for the toddlers to be in the crib you have to change them into their pjs, and then change them again when you take them out unless you want them in their pjs the whole time. And how many people just set their baby down in a random place on the filthy floor and just leave it there?
I think that you should be able to buy like a store and be able to have a buisness. I like how you can leave the house and stuff and I wish there could have more clothing too. I think that you should be able to have pets like a horse and a kitty and a bird or dog, not just fish. That would be cool
to go to work with your sims, that would be better cause then u actually know what your sim has been up too and to choose any job you want ? just an idea
