on a completely unrelated note for like the first month i played i never had a girl baby. i thought there was something wrong with my game. i seriously had over 20 kids and they were all boys!!!
I usually get bored and kill off my families to start a new one before they get old enough to die. Except for the one time that my sims wife burnt down the house by accident, killing 3 of my neighbors but she still lived. That was straight up funny.
This is for Sims 3 right? Cause I sill have Sims 2, and he only ways you can kll them is by drowning them, or staving them. But I don't think they're making it oo exagerated.... Because 3/5 chances, if you run with scissors, you will die, etc etc. But yeah, from what it seems, there are some funny ways you can kill them... I think they've finally realized we find it really fun...... Yup, haha!

No kidding! I have the same issue, but it's usually by save game. One game will have all boys, the other girls. Eventually I just make a family with a girl baby.
