Yeah, thats my favorite too, I just wanted to get a picture at the bottom of it, and it turned out really sweet. I wondered how you reconized it then I remember you live in the same town I do.. The one where the storm is coming in was actually at the bottom of the monument. Long story..

You so have to take me to Ireland next time you go. My dream is to go there... Awesome pictures, by the way.
very nice pictures. you might need to practice a little more with photoshop, because in the tower photo, there are brighter edges around it. not a big deal, though. the idea and the concept of the picture is what matters! oh, and i love that photo of the flowers. very well done.
I apologize in advance for the shitty quality of these scans, I work in 11x14 from a medium format and my scanner isn't that big so there was some unintentional cropping, and the greys are a little washed out, but you get the idea.
This is only about 1/3 - 1/2 of my work too.
These were part of a series on transportation I did:
These were based around the shadows:
These are part of my final project, I was working with words and their relative meaning, I know Requiem is mispelled but the box of letters I was using was limited:
This is the word Strong, multiple exposed with a strong center point on the "O"
Weak, very small in the middle of a wasteland:
Power, multiple exposed at longer times to create a sort of "Powering Up" effect:
Spectre/Ghost of War:
You can't quite see it clearly in the scan, but the word CHAOS is highlighted in the jumble of letters:
The (misspelled) Latin word for rest, at rest. I probably could have gone with Pace to simialar effect but I didn't:
Also part of my final, it was a simple stacking of two negatives to create a topsy turvy type world:
Multiple exposed and bleached out, my personal favorite, it has a yellowish tint that didn't come through the scanner:
These last two are of a paper snowflake that created spectacular shadows, it was done in alternative processes (cyanotype and Van Dyke) creating the blue and brown coloring:
yea i know. were those prints matted? i ask because i tried to scan a few of my prints that were matted, and the colors came out horrible. the blacks looked like purple... it wasn't good.
heh... some B+W photos that I took and developed in my high school visual communications class... so-so
One of my dogs, on the back porch Another one of my dogs, on the back porch I always liked this picture, although the quality is bad.. it makes me feel so... empty, yet like there is something waiting for you at the end of the walkway. It is an odd picture like that. er... third dog, on the back porch This was a fun shot to take. I was standing on a boulder beach waiting for the crash of the wave.. I was very lucky that I got this picture then turned away before the salt water hit me (a very good way to kill a camera). I submitted this one into the high school photography contest, I was surprised that this got me 1st place.
