ok, it's another one of those yepp threads by yours truely owneth. this is just a quick starter post to see if ur all intrested in this style of thread, but if u have questions, i'm the all informed about this new game. i got all the new info. you can thank Raiden for all the info i have on it lol. miyamota released so much info on this game it's crayzee
there aren't any released pictures yet. as soon as they come out i'll bring em up here. same with my "new ssb" thread until, i WILL tell u this, this game sounds about 10 times better than assault, and that's w/o me even seeing pictures or playing it please, do ask questions about this game, i know pretty much everything that's been released i think thanks to Raiden
also, this game is gonna completely redeem everything that the starfox series lost from starfox:assault, because namco doesn't like to follow instructions
hey the Starfox games on the Cube sucked out loud (I'm sorry it had to be said) notice how Rare screwed up Adventures, then Namco with Assualt...Starfox should be left in the hands of Nintendo... I just hope they get rid of the weird anamations of them running on land(like Assualt) I mean Adventures was a great Action/Adventure game but it had so much potiential to become a great Space Shooter we all know Rare could pull that off
1) starfox adventures was a sweet game! it just wasn't a true starfox game. fun little arwing missions though. and it had a sweet endboss in my oppinion 2) yes nintendo should deal with starfox themselves so the series doesn't get ruined into trash, and that's what they're doing. in fact miyamota's heading this one himself, making sure the game gives the series the respect it deserves AND 3).......ummm....STARFOX PWNS!
lol, u better "<3 starfox". starfox is by far my favorite game series that has a plot line in it the game is going mainly back to it's flight rail shooter roots. there's gonna be some all range and land missions as well though. and yes, miyamoto's personally working on this one. he's doing it for the sake of the series. he knows that he shouldn't license away the game to be made by other companies any more. he gave it to RARE, they made an action adventure/zelda title. he gave it to Namco, they kick the heck out of the series.
apparently assault was supposed to have 33 levels (including Blue Marine levels) but Miyamoto made them take them out, because they REALLY screwed with the game in those levels apparently
Actually Rare was the one that pitched the Idea to Nintendo that they wanted to make an Action/Adventure game with Starfox. Apperantly they piched something really good so they let them use Starfox. I'm saying Starfox because they wanted to use that franchise. Unfortunately they ended up taking so many things out of the game so thats why it wasn't as good as it was suppose to... Same fate as Assault!
ya, but adventures actually game out as a really good game. i loved it, despite the lack of starfox in it and yes, the original game was called Dinosaur Planet. i've seen screens from the game. they looked like they stuck to the original plan they they changed it to Starfox Adventures. Dinosaur Planet was gonna be on the 64 too, but the gamecube version got revamped SOOOOO much when it changed to starfox. the game is just plain beautiful
I did like SF:Adventures in some ways but what really pissed me off was the strength competition with the Lightfoot tribe I had to use a pen just to push the button fast enough XD, and it was a real dissapointment I was expecting something lik you know SF:64 but it does deserve it's credit Rare did make an excellent Adventure game but really...Fox should stay in his ship :P
LOL!!!!! u had to use a pen! dud comon! lol, my thumbs are so fast now. like 3 years ago when i got the game i couldn't do it, but now i can do it on my first try. my friend was doing that lightfoot strength challenge and he tried like 5 times and couldn't do it. he called me into his room and said can u do it for me. i start it, and finish it within like 5 seconds and just say "there ya go" and walk out
lol, very smooth there never sell other people's games. duuuuuuuuuuuuh and i liked assault too, but it was far too short for the style they set up the levels with. but the various other things that were wrong with it. luckily the new one is going to be incredibly long they're saying over 80 hours to beat it with EVERYONE (fox falco slippy krystal katt bill and o'reilly) (and maybe starwolf too)
Well I hope that it lives up to the greatness of Starfox 64. I still went back to it even after the new consoles came out . I can't find it right now, though T_T
yepp there's 3 new starfox pilots as i mentioned earlier. Bill from from cornerian army (SF 64) and that weird girl u meet in SF 64 Katt. plus some guy no one knows ANYTHING about named O'Reilly
miyamoto's making it lives up to and maybe even surpasses the greatness of starfox 64. he doesn't want people to turn away from the starfox series because of assault, so he started this game really fast and wants to get it done so people will be like "HOLY COW! so that's why everyone loves starfox eh?"
what I couldn't stand about Assualt were the anamations of the charcters running....other than that it was a decent enough game short but it had it's glory
ya, it had it's moments. the problem is that the game was supposed to be the last real starfox game. then they were gonna move into some starwolf games and then bring starfox back, but led by falco and his wingmates would be O'Reilly bill Arek (a new guy) Avyn (another new guy) and Katt apparently O'Reilly is Fox's son. which is just weird, so apparently they're skipping the entire get together relationship thing with krystal. which is really ok with me since i'd rather starfox be an action game w/o romance between those two cheesy lovers
sry, i retract what i said about O'Reilly being Fox's son. he was originally going to be fox's son. now that every thing's changed, he's not. he's a goat with sunglasses. i know, sounds weird huh? don't worry, miyamoto says he looks cool lol
I've read those aritcles lol and its not from IGN its from GamerCraze a site you have to be invited to join. They are also on Gamespot if you have the GOLD membership on Ign you just have to be an insider
