I agree with G5Unit, Paper Mario. It may look easy and childish. But it gets really freakin' hard early. I STILL haven't beaten the pit of 100 trials in Paper Mario: TTYD
oh hell yeah Im_a_girl, I agree it was a hard game.. Especially the regenerators, I got annoyed by them.. but the game was sooo addicting!! Anyways, it was a really difficult game..
I am not sure about difficult games... one game was "Gargoyle's Quest" for NES.. or River Raid for Atari 2600, or maybe Ikari Warriors for NES... hrmm There are so many that had a bit of difficulty to them though, easily surpased if you play enough... heh
if we are talking just GC games... (makes it easier) than i have to say the remake of the original resident evil on hard mode, with the real inventory system. I.E. ur inv boxes are not connected, you have to go back to the place u dropped an item to pick it back up.
I haven't played a GC game that has really kicked my ass yet. I've even "Mastered" (by that I mean done EVERYTHING minus about 5 track ghosts being beaten) F-Zero GX. I've made a mode for Tales of Symphonia to make it harder for me though. All characters except for Lloyd don't move or use skills EVER unless they are forced to, like when you have to split up. So the only characters doing anything during the game are Lloyd and Kratos/Zelos. They can't use items either, except life bottles when my player character keels over. I've made a decent amount of progress so far and haven't had a game over yet. Except when fighting the underworld four armed demon thing. He beat me once.
I will say that Metroid Prime on hard mode is impossible. I can't beat Prime's first form no matter how hard I try. I've gotten so close too, but it wouldn't matter since the second part is trickier anyway.
In reply to Weezel, #4: You haven't beaten the Pit of 100 Trials?....... How long have you been trying? I beat it on my 3rd try. The badge at the bottom is worth it, though....
You had trouble with that game? I found it to be fairly simple...I can't imagine someone having the most trouble with that one unless you don't play a lot of challenging games...
