First off, what it is, for thoes who don't know, is it's a program that enables you to litterally create your own music. It provides sound clips of every instrument imaginable for you to put together in a song that sounds like it's being played live. Sadly, as far as i know, it's only for Mac OS X.
What i want to know is either A: Is there a version of Garage Band for the PC ans/or B: If not a PC version, then is there a program on the PC that does the same thing as Garage Band?
i loved messing around with garage band when i had access to it. Anyway, my friend can hook me up with ACID Pro... (from the philipines :) I actually saw someone make something that sounded really professionally done using garage band
i agree with guttedfish, ive been using fruity loops (now called FL studio) for a few years now. its kinda scary to new users but once you get the hang of it its pretty damn cool.
also, you might wanna check out adobe audition. i use that a lot as well to record guitar/keyboard/voice. theres a bunch of effects and modifiers including delay, flanger, distortion. ya know, the works.
