Whoa, I hope that's not Yggdrasil in real life. Speaking of Yggdrasil, it'd be nice if my beloved thread didn't get blocked, so let's at least pretend Symphonia is relevant to our every day lives. Uhm.....you get to train *fake cough* Pokemon! *fake cough* monsters that you capture after a battle. The main character continues to be the most incompitant fool I've ever played as and the only time he is is when he's in "Ratatosk mode" which, by the way, is awesome, but doesn't make the main character awesome. The two main characters are just kind of annoying in general, I can't get over them.
I would say you were better off just playing the first one another time. I enjoy the plot that they drew from. "Well....I guess everything isn't actually 'happily ever after. Gee thanks Lloyd'." It shows a majority of the original team that shows up and tries to right the shit that went down after combining the two worlds . But I think like....I just can't get over the fact that the second game was better off without the new two main characters, though the new villains were kind of necessary.
It sounds like a bitter disappointment for me, kinda like when you watch a new series of a tv show and turns out to be rubbish. I was looking on ebay for the TOS guide and it's like 70 quid omg collectors thing now so I have to get one lol
I don't think there's two player, no. Haha. XD It's my only PS3 game right now. Trying to get use to games that cost about $60 instead of $50 like what ToS cost.
Valkyria Chronicles is pretty good... but not good enough to be saved from me making some extra money for Demon's Souls, which is in my opinion a much better game.
Yeah...well, I don't really trade in my games. I keep them all and save them for times when I have cravings for them. I want to download Sylvaria's story so I can play through it.
Played the sequel and holy fuck, what a load of shite. All about a little boy who has violent mood swings and an annoying bint who just couldn't take no for an answer. The only thing I liked about that was Tenebie :)
they really shouldn't have bothered. Sheena could kick Martas ass anyday, plus Kratos was my fav character who obviously didn't appear in it. Richter was a very poor substitute.
I never played Tales of Destiny, but it seems like the Tales games seem to have a reputation for being long. So I can understand if you played and loved it, but didn't finish. Haha.
