It has been a couple years since my last strip was posted but I do have a webcomic called RAPSKULLIONS by NuoVo. I am seriuosly thinking about finally dusting off my tablet and getting back to it. If you want to check it out www.rapskullions.com/ I suggest starting in the archive if you want to get the beginning of the story.
I enjoy reading comics but drawing and writing them is not my thing. BUT my best friend has started her own web-comic called REM www.rem-comic.com/.
I might be a little bias but I think it is great. The art work still needs to improve but she knows that and is always working on improving it. She doesn't have access to a tablet or Photoshop so all of her comics are hand drawn and sometimes hand colored. I actually think its cool to see it as hand drawn over digital. For those who read the comic, they will get to see who whole growing process from hand drawn into digital (some day). I always find that to be very interesting going back through one of your favorite web-comic series to see how much they have grown as an artist.
Some people (Albeit not many) might have heard of my kind of short-lived comic RTventures. It's about the characters of me, ManOfChance and DazzleShine. Also including some other members... eventually The entirety of the comic is strewn about my images section on my profile. So if you wanna' check it out, I'll be making some more comics soon.
I'm in the process of drawing a comic, but it's fairly long... More like a marvel comic sort of thing... Would anyone actually be interested in taking a look at it??? I'm not entirely sure how long it will be, but It's very super-hero-esque....
Here's one of my comics, Scottster comics, from my Deviantart site scottster246.deviantart.com/ Based on the RT comics, they feature over exaggerated stories from my life.
I have been illustrating [citation needed] for about three years. More projects are on the website and my other comic is Cardigan Weather. Actually moving into a studio with another cartoonist next month. Very excited. :D
Here's some of my work. My comics can be found at my blog, and they focus around the Silver-Age superhero, The Blue Spearman, and his sworn nemesis, The White Skull. The White Skull is actually the one the audience is supposed to root for, since this is the Silver Age, and all superheroes are going through their dick phase.
I'm actually looking to illustrate a comic if anyone is interested. I'll post some of my recent drawings below. I realize none of these have backgrounds but, rest assured, I can draw them. If you're not satisfied with my word just tell me what to draw for you and I'll gladly do it.
The double image on this one was just me test bold out line vs. non-bold outline.
I juuuuuuuust finished a 6-page comic called "Gray vs Gray" that's just me writing RvB, if the characters, plot, and jokez were all new and different, and everything about the world and backdrop is stolen from RvB.
I threw it up on the site, over in this album, and you should check it out! Or, you could, like, drink a glass of lemonade, if you want. I don't control you.
Your drawings are good, but your poses are very stiff; the human body isn't made to stand straight up and down. Also, the arched eyebrow is a hackneyed visual convention; study both facial expression and body language and you'll go far!
Am I a bit late to post here? There hasn't been activity here for a month... Still, I've decided to do some RT community comics, now and again. Here's the first. 'More to come, me hopes. s3.roosterteeth.com/images/MayeurDonz509d16b14206...
I'm in the early stages of my soon-to-be-webcomic, the Misanthropic Misadventures of Kaus Absolvo, right now. My new avatar is actually the logo for the antagonists in the story, and it's the first thing for I've really put out.
Kinda a daunting task over all. The webcomic is going to me more story driven and art driven then anything else, but I've got high-hopes.
I have an original Red vs Blue comic in the works that takes place after season10; the skit/scripts are already up in my gallery on DeviantArt and the link to the first skit is in my journal on my profile here.
Scripts are the first phase in my comic planning where I write out what the readers will see and hear in the comic; nobody usually sees them, they just see the finished comics, but in the case of my RvsB project...they're just too goddamn funny not to share. XD
I have a bunch of pictures like this on my tumblr, I'm going to be posting more comics on my profile page at first I was pretty shy about posting them haha
In reply to Banda, #117: No need to be shy when you got some decent quality stuff! My comics aren't even that good lookin', and I still post 'em up. :~)
