I have an upcoming machinima project that began in 2010 and has been in developmental hell for quite some time, due to the fact that the game I was going to sue to film it wasn't going to work, but just recently I've found a game that could work for the series, and am slowly learning how the game works in order to figure out how to make the scenes. I already have five season planned (with a possible sixth season that follows the origins of the characters).
The Machinima will be called Renegade, and it takes place a few years after mankind's first encounter with an alien race that nearly resulted in the extinction of both races. Tensions are high between the two races, and the possibility of full scale war escalates every day. Some humans, who have become very anti-alien, have formed a secret army, which is called the Renegade Army, that plans to wipe out all alien traces from the planet. The story follows a group of solders as they attempt to combat the Renegade Army and maintain peace in a world that is only a straw drop away from breaking the camel's back.

It's being made in a game called The Movies. It was a 2005 movie studio simulator game that was created specifically for making machinimas. I've always found that in the absolute worst case scenario, sites like these can be used for voices (even if you have to resort to recording them using a phone or filter or something). But this is like for the worst case scenario only, when no one is able to help you provide a voice; best used for minor characters/redshirts since it is a lame technique.
I play the blue spartan, and thanks very much for the nice comments and offer, but for some unknown reason I just really dislike serious machinima, not trying to be a douche, it's just a weird personal preference of mine, and I can never really get into a machinima which is solely narrative and action. So I'm sorry but I think I'll pass, as I probably won't really be able to give the project the attention and effort that it deserves, if I don't like what I'm making :/
So your saying you don't like my stuff? On a non sarcastic note, I completely see where you are coming from. If you don't like what you're doing, then you won't put as much effort in. I also think he's planning to do a comedy machinima after the serious one, so if he does, I'll recommend you for that.
I will. I probably won't write that in any capacity as I can't write comedy to save my life. As fit the serious machinima, 2 scenes out of 19 written. We're slowly getting there.
Hi, guys. I'm working on a Minecraft machinima series, under the working title "Wondering Stock." It follows the lives of a bunch of Minecraft animals as they uncover the reality that they're, in fact, a part of a video game. It's a comedy, and I just want to see if people would be interested in seeing this.
Hey, guys, a while back I made a reach machinima and taking the advice that I got from episode 1, I set off to work on episode 2, fixing the majority of the problems episode 1 had, the one thing that has delayed me so far though has been voice acting, I haven't been able to do the voice I want, partly I believe this is due to me hearing my own voice, skipping to the point this had delayed episode 2 too long, so I thought I would come to the roosterteeth forums and see if anyone else is willing to help me out, If you think you can help just send a PM to my youtube account and I will get back to you with more details.
