I know i haven't posted in a while, probably because I've been manically trying to get my new Black magic to work. (Damn you USB 3.0!) BUt i'm back, and we have a new short out, so check it yo www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0k_JKMTtGU&list=...
I'm just posting this quick message, offering my free editing services for games such as MW3 or BF3. I've wanted to make a montage for either of these 2 games, but keep getting side tracked with others. Anyway, I've not got any games that I'm looking forward to for the next month or 2 & was wondering if anyone/clan is interested in having a montage created?
For MW3 I'm looking for great kill feeds & Quick scoping. For BF3, pretty much anything as long as it looks cool.
I've added these links (quick edits) just to give you an indication of my editing skills. If you are interested then please let me know. I will be scouting on other forums so if you have the footage be fast. Thanks for your time guy's, hope to hear for a couple of you ;)
I plan to release more videos like this but with different genres of music. Before anyone mentions it, yes I know I should have more camera angles while filming the "artist", but in my defense he got too drunk passed out unable to film anything else.
I think the music in your vid was pretty good, not my preference, but i can still recognise the talent. One thing i would suggest is to record the audio before hand and then try to layer it on top of the video, because sometimes when the rapper turned his head, his voice sounded distant. Also it was structed very weirdly, the outtakes were kind of thrown out the end. but apart from my negatives I'd say good music, good talent, needs work with some of the structuring and developing :)
Yea I wanted to use the outakes to buffer the time between songs, but I didn't see the point in doing that before the song being played kinda defeats the purpose, also the rapper was insistent that I played that song last.
Thank's for the feedback it's greatly appreciated.
I've made a trailer for the second season of the series i work on called "On hold" i'm really excited about this time round because our new capture card allows us to create better angles, and to be less stingy with our camera work :) check it out, but a lot of footage here is from season 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU4zys0byh8&featu...
Hey Everyone! So I took part in documenting an independent film that two of my close friends made earlier this year. It was a very well thought out and planned so I feel it's got a little more weight behind it. It has some pretty nerdy humor and a pretty good story. I have a brief scene as a fake Peter Parker that's kinda funny. I really just wanted to push this out and see what you think. Comments on the video would help! They're not telling me to promote this but I feel it should at least be exposed to more people. The film is called "Rued January" and I don't expect anyone to help them raise money for festivals but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Currently they're in post production and want to be done in a couple months and it's a feature length film, so probably 90 minutes or so. Thanks for checking it out!
I've got a couple ongoing projects right now I was making a wrap up for RvB season 9 that was supposed to be out by tomorrow before season 10 but that's probably not going to happen but should be out next week anyways. Also, I'm working on a series that is going to be all 3D animation which I'm expecting to hit youtube hopefully by September sometime it just depends on school and stuff. Also, I will be making a tribute for RvB season 10 when the season is finished.
I don't know how many people have heard about this awesome Halo fan film, The Fallen, so I just want to get the word out. Check out their Kick-starter at www.kickstarter.com/projects/1717415109/the-fallen-a-halo-fan-film. They need some fund raising for their awesome vfx and post-production.
I would like to read it if you have the time to send it to me i promise i wont take ideas but i think i have some good suggestions depending on what kind of show it is
This is an upcoming project me and some family members are doing, this is our first every machinima Video so we are very new to this. Any Constructive Criticism is welcome because of this. We want to know how to improve on what we done.
Not bad. I'm curious as to where you're going with this. Some of the writing is quite clever.
The conversation between the narrator and the dreamer doesn't flow because of the interval with the captioned conversation between the zombies.
There needs to be some kind of zombie verbalization to indicate the zombies are talking (the game is not providing enough) so that the captions make sense.
Anytime you are going to have text appear on screen SPELL CHECK. Speaking of text, it is much harder to READ ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, especially when they are in a distorted font. (I'm thinking about all those opening credits)
I'm not sure what the scene with the two people standing in front of the monitors was all about-it was very hard to hear one of the people speaking.
I'm not a big fan of voice distorters used to mask the fact that the same person is reading two roles. Try to get more voice actors-ask on this thread if you need to. I know I'd be happy to do voices.
many thanks for your Input man, One of the things I want to fix is the voice problems. If your interested in doing a voice over, we would love all the help we can get, if anyone is interested in helping us out with anything you can contact us through the email associated with the youtube account. Your Reply was also very fast and very well stated and was exactly the style of criticism we need.
Hey guys. For the last week or so I've been working on a live-action skyrim short movie. Mostly to get back into the habit of making computer generated art. The project is pretty ambitious. I've done very little rigging, animating, match moving or retopologizing in the past, so its great fun learning new skills. (I have no idea if retopologizing is a word)
Anyway, I though some of you might be interested in seeing some work in progress shots. Sorry they are so small, I hosted them on my Roosterteeth homepage which seems to really reduce image size.
This first render is a Skyrim style lighthouse that will probably be tracked into the background of the shot. Since it will be so far in the background its fairly low res, and roughly textured.
This render is the main bad guy; The ancient Jarl Draugr. He isn't rigged to animate yet, which is why he's in the 'Jesus Christ pose'. It's also why he isn't actually holding the staff. The floating is intentional. His legs are so wasted away that he floats around like a Dragon priest instead of walking.
Let me know what you think guys. I'm really interested in hearing your advise/questions.
Hey it would be nice if i can get some feedback on this new Skyrim Machinima im working on, some of the lines in it are going to be replaced cuz a lot of it i did on the spot, just let me know what you think :)
I'm looking for dedicated people who would like to help me form a Machinima group! So far it's only me and I'd like to start small. I can voice, body act, and do SOME video editing, so I'm looking for a cameraman, video editor, and one or two other people to voice and body act depending on who is able to do any combination of the the first two roles. I have scripts for the first couple episodes of a series I call "Achievement Unlocked" already written out. Achievement Unlocked is a comedy sketch series, with episodes ranging from 1 minute up to at maximum 4 and will be filmed in Halo: Reach and possibly 3. Ways to contact me are Skype: daxter2013 GT: Guardian Slant PM me on Waypoint.
"Just because it's a dream, does that make it any less real? It's what happenes within the worlds built up inside out minds that make us who we are, not the scars of physical imperfection the outside world can see."
Timefall. That's the name of the project/concept I've got lined up. In short, it's a semi-serious plotline that attempts to blur the boundaries between dreams and reality, with memory as the "glue" that holds all that we call "human" together.
It's a pretty heavy-going concept (roots in writing dark fiction and fantasy coming in there) but I'll probably crack out the literary crowbar and lever in a few good jokes here or there to give it a lighter edge and the odd visual pun here or there.
As for the medium, I'll be using both Halo 3 and Halo: Reach to shoot in. Primarily Reach due to the more easily manipulated forge, but I feel that there's a more diverse set of maps (in terms of terrain) in Halo 3. I.e. maps that aren't all the same blue-grey forgerd pieces.
So yeah, if anybody is interested in the concept and could offer some friendly advice, constructive criticism (or just any old criticism) then I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know! :)
First: I would like to think that I am a very capable actor, so if anyone needs a VA or an actor if you are in an area in Dayton, OH, I could help with live-action.
Second: I'm thinking of starting up a machinima I'm calling Outpost 19. It's supposed to be a serious/comedic series based in Halo 3 or Reach. I wrote it for 3, but Reach has so many more options that help. It's a bit of an odd concept, it's a sort of offshoot of RvB. Not with any main characters, but it does take place in the RvB universe. I need approxiamtely 5 or 6 people to help with 'acting' and would like one female voice. Most of the voices are otherwise taken care of.
You can contact me best via the PM on the site. Thanks for reading!
