I've only ever played add on packs to Munchkin, namely Munchkin Fu and Munchkin Bites! but I loved the game when I played it in college. How many Cthuthlu expansion packs are there?
I know some people had thought of different Red vs Blue board game concepts, how about a RVB Munchkin? You can split the classes into the different characters (Sarge, Church, Simmons, Caboose, Grif, Tucker, Donut, Sister). Each character would have their own advantages and disadvantages (like Tucker never gets the sniper rifle but once he gets his sword he gets a bonus). The monsters would range from various freelancers, to aliens, AI's and other threats including Caboose and other characters. Could take a different twist and if someone draws a card in which your characters does something to them, you get to draw a special item card which could range from weapons, to special items or people.
That mod would be bad ass! Lets get someone on this! I'd love to play that! My box is actually sitting above me right now. I gotta find people to play with.
Since I read this, I've started working on this idea, not to toot my own horn but I've always been pretty good at balance but terrible at drawing. If anyone wants to join in, let me know.

I'm thinking of not using "Race" but, like Super Munchkin, just having "Class" cards. I've also added armour colours as a throwaway idea, and this would be the character differentiation.

You have to have race: Red, Blue, Alien, PacifierPedophile Pacifist. If your class matches your race you either can get a bonus or penalty ie. class:Caboose, race:Blue effect:when someone helps you attack a monster you must roll a die 6. If number is odd you attack the player helping you.
Your monsters would be your Freelancers, certain A.I.s, the Zealots, Aliens, other soldiers that they have come across and fought in the series.
curses would be character based to some degree like "pregnant with alien baby," "helped by Caboose," "yes, I'm afraid of black stuff," "is it a spider? Get it off!" "Robot army." "Infected with O'Mally." "Insulted Tex." "Grif forgot the extra ammo," and as cameron89 mentioned, "team killing fucktard" to name a few.
Those are great ideas guys, for the next month or so I'll only have access to the internet sparingly, so please don't be offended if I don't reply. There is a basic outline of what I was thinking Here feel free to critique any ideas and add some. I've got a feeling this is going to be a longer process than I originally thought. If you guys know of anywhere I can host word docs, preferably for free, then I can upload what I've got so far and you can see/add whatever you think as well.
I managed to pick up a copy of Munchkin in box with the standard deck and the steeds deck et al for 10p (thats 15cents!!!) at a fun fair jumble sale. I couldn't believe it. I freakin love this game and I've now got my wife and our friends hooked too!
Munchkin actually has gotten me and my friends into boardgames recently. We've actually bought several other boardgames since playing Munchkin, but we still play Munchkin a bunch.
Oh man I love Munchkins! My favorite set is the regular Munchkin series, nothing beats good old dungeon crawling. Although Star Munchkin and its rooms seem pretty cool, never played it though.
I got the christmas expansion for Kwanza looks fun can't wait to rip it out for new years.
I have a traditional Munchkin deck up to expansion 5 i believe. SO many cards. Got the sweet box of holding for those. If there is anybody here in San Antonio we can kick down doors?
lol, I totally agree!!! .....do some simple animations so that anytime a card is played or set, it moves to further enhance the comedy.....other than that, and a funny soundtrack, and you've got instant gold!
