ive been seeing quite a few commericals about this show for the sci fi channel, it really looks kinda cool, i especially like the one with the guys playing basketball and then the court turns into a skatepark
It's Optimus Prime/Primal from Beast Wars/Machines, Transformers Armada/Energon, and Transformers Cybertron. One of my favorite Optimus voice actors. His name is Gary Chalk and he sounded like a pissed off Optimus in that episode.
I loved the show, though. It has a pretty oddity to it. And that female deputy cracked me up.
okay i just finished watching the show (i recorded it last night) i though tit was pretty "inventive" but so far it looks to me like there isn't an underlying story like there is with shows like monk (finding his wife's killer) and early sg1 (defeating the goauld)
but its only the first episode who knows whats gonna happen next
The acting was refreshingly good for a Sci-Fi original (series or otherwise).
The plot was 95% airtight, while the script itself was patchy. It tried too hard to be written NOT like a SF Original.
Kroze unknowingly bitched about the show to one of the executive producers, especially about how Sci-Fi would possibly get anal about our show getting a C&D from Sci-Fi due to the taglines of both being eerily similar (even though Sci-Fi wouldn't give a shit about an online show). It was hilarious. The guy took his comments in stride.
The second episode was awesome! Contains Spoilers below/ Seems like there is everything going on in that little town. Tell you the truth, I didn't expect to see walter come back, or even his real wife to come back. This show just keeps dishing out the twists and turns! I love it! I want more! END
I think it's just an all around fun show to watch. And with the plot of the show, you have to figure that there'll be a whole lot of fun stuff waitin for us
Its not going to get cancelled, its probably one of Sci-fi's good shows that are out. And its far better than pretty much all of the movies that they have made
eureka set a new record for viewings and ratings, 4 million viewers, i dont think that sci fi will get rid of this show in a hurry, mainly because its not really a "hardcore" sci fi show like sg-1 or bsg, its more like the 4400, and that i think draws more viewers
Seriously, I'm not an idiot. I know shows get cancelled, seeing as 95% of shows I like do. I was just saying that I didn't think it would be cancelled, and pointing out that Fox cancels shows all the time.
I stick by it too, I don't think Eureka will be cancelled.
I personally like this show. I like the vibe it gives off. Not too serious, funny, and it has the sci-fi element (of course). It's a wonderful sci-fi show and I hope it sticks around for awhile. Even though most of the shows I like seem to get cancelled.
