I think that Holly was killed specifically because I think Fargo may move into Warehouse 13 after the series finale, because he and Claudia need eachother. Best couple ever.
Although I do love Felicia Day her character needed to die for this to happen.
Also, do you think that we're going to finally see what happened with when Zoe saw Jack and herself leaving town on the pilot episode?
Are we going to watch all of this series and then have them go back in time and then just leave Eureka?
I've seriously been wondering about that scenario since day 1 of me seeing this show.
As far as finale's go... that was pretty good. Wrapped everything up without being too cheesy/sentimental but still managed to have a Eureka-esque problem to be solved.
Oh, I loved that they ended on Jack and Zoey in the car passing themselves ... I mean, the second they set that scene up it was obvious that was going to happen... but it was just done so well... :D
Working tonight, so I won't be able to see it until it hits On Demand.
Until such a time, the way Eureka ends in happy Nix land:
The final problem has been solved, but the DoD is still pulling their funding from Eureka. Touching goodbyes are made and everyone prepares to go their separate ways. As the main group gathers for one last Vinspresso, Richard Dean Anderson walks in, wearing an Air Force general's uniform. "I wouldn't pack just yet," he says, as the screen fades to black.
Well, if you want it spoiled... pretty much what Nix said happens, except that it's Captain Old Spice himself, Grant, who walks in as Jack, Alison, Henry and Grace are having a last toast in Cafe Diem... with his financial backing, the town is saved...
But that's not all... even more spoilers ... after the day is saved, there is a bit of a montage of everyone to music, it's really quite nice... then Zoey and Jack leave Alison and the step-sibs as he takes her back to the airport to head back to Harvard... as they are talking in the car, it's raining, and another car starts coming from the other direction, you know it's gonna happen, but it's still pretty cool as they pass themselves only on the other side as seen in the first episode... Zoey is a bit speechless and Jack just shrugs "We'll deal with it tomorrow" and they just continue to drive, final shot is them passing the "now leaving Eureka" sign... /fade out
I was impressed by this finale. It sort of came from nowhere in my opinion. All the other seasons had 20+ episodes and then all of a sudden it was like, "Surprise! We are all done next week!"
I thought it was going to be a train wreck but I enjoyed that finale.
Glad they finally went back to the Sheriff and Zoe seeing themselves from the first episode.
