Technically this is an Anime only thread which despite lack of attention keeps failing to die. You are welcome to be angry with bad pacing in that thread though ^^
Just like most here I've read my share of mangas. Is anyone else annoyed by how much they are stretching this current arc with Ichigo having no abilities.
In the most recent chapter half of some pages are just one panel of black.
Have you ever read the Death Note manga? That shit is LOOOOOOOONG they purposely stretched it out so it would equal exactly 108 chapters.
Also why the hell did Isshin tell Ichigo to open the gate last episode when Ichigo probably has no idea how and never has opened it. Fuck he even tells Isshin to open the gate himself at the end.
Nah, it should've ended at the end of the SS arc. Aizen and co revealed as evil with the confrontation there and then. Some things would've remained unresolved but I'd rather that than it being dragged onwards and downwards.
Off Topic: Yeah but I find DN much more of a thriller so it's slightly different. But 108 chapters Vs 425 and counting...
I'm not saying I don't like Bleach, I love it. I just hate where the writer is going. It is currently moving at day time soap opera speed. Like a whole chapter just to meet up with someone. My god are they at opposite ends of Japan?
On Topic: When he lost his abilities and then they stated that Aizen isn't gone it was a bit obvious that he was going to get his abilities back.
Any one else even slightly disappointed that Ichigo didn't go crazy hollow against Aizen?
Though I still like Bleach, I hate the fact that it's now a Dragonball Z anime. When I say that, I mean it's a pretty good show, but it's been dragged on for far too long and the fact that every time a new enemy pops up, Ichigo gains a new power/form in order to defeat them.
I <3 Rukia! haha but seriously this is a good show probably my favorite anime. I watch the Japanese english subbed ones, can't stand the regular english ones. The Japanese voice actors fit it a lot better and make the show seem more real.

Well, no, but most of the Bleach discussion on the RvB board takes place in the manga thread. Besides which, I think if there was a Bleach thread that the current regulars weren't allowed to post in there might be more discussion; we basically just complain about it and slate it, and I get the impression that that alienates the people who would like to gush about how much they love it.
Clearly that is no obstacle for some people though. Maybe I am not alienating hard enough?
Incidentally, that was ridiculously perfectly timed given that the thread has just today become active for literally the first time in a year. Well played, new guy.
did anybody hear about the atrocity that will be gracing American screens? apparently warner bros got the rights for the live action bleach movie. im positive it will be as bad as dragonball evolution.
Lulz. This was mentioned at the exact same time in the Manga thread, and I said roughly the exact same thing (plus some live action Cowboy Bebop stuff).
Maybe it was just me, but was it hard for anyone else to continue watching Bleach after the Aizen arc? I just recently got back into it, with the Fullbring arc and everything. It was, with Aizen's end, I felt empty, like there will be no true villain anymore. Patiently though, I wait for the 1000 year Blood War arc.
Nay, I quit watching it ages ago... Honestly I've quite several times then after a few months picked it back up again. But it's been quite a while this time around, and I honestly just don't care to watch it anymore, heck I'm barely motivated to read the manga anymore.
And the final arc seems to be heading in a disappointing direction already, so don't get your hopes up.
yea i know what you mean. but in all honesty the fullbringer arc is the first real arc since the eizen arc. The rest has been filler so to be honest sitting through all that crap was even harder than having to when a real arc was in play. but Im hope full that it will start to get better now.
