Not equivalent to console fanboyism. Hey let's remove games from steam and make them Origin exclusive now, lets not release DLC for DA2 for steam so they are forced to buy the game on our PC platform so they can play it.
Maybe if they went about it without taking away from something they were invested in in the first place I and many others wouldn't be so against Origin. The fact that BF3 or Star Wars is exclusive doesn't bother me.
EDIT: For added lulz, someone with Origin agrees with my last post. For the record I was also invited to the Alpha and got a message for the Beta for buying MOH.
I'd prefer to just have Steam because I don't like to have an excess of programs on my computer. However, Orgin vs Steam is not quite the war that is Xbox vs Playstation or even VHS vs DVD, but it's still looking to be a conflict and will surely have people on both sides who prefer one or the other.
You're going to call a mod because someone negged you? You know this is the internet.. and that there isn't really any effects of neeging except someone anonymously saying "I disapprove."
Ironically, you are telling that person to grow up, while you're letting childish behavior get to you. For that, I will neg you.
Are you kidding me? MAG isn't even half the game BF2 is... The quality level isn't even close.
MAG never matched the awesomeness of planting C4 on enemy planes before they take off and blowing them up as soon as they get in the air. It never gave me the epic feeling of sneaking up to a conquest point and finding cover just in time when a mortar strike occurs. I also like the BF2 maps better than any MAG maps I've played. Oh yeah, and being able to go lone wolf just doesn't work in MAG. You could go out by yourself in BF2 and accomplish some great stuff for your side.
MAG just couldn't hold my interest, so I stopped playing after 4 or 5 hours.
I loved c4 on a buggy then driving it at an enemy tank. Glorious.
And Lone wolf on MAG is sometimes the only way to cap an objective with a crappy team. But I agree. Battlefield makes soloing more productive when done well.
So you just can't put your finger on it? Sounds like I'd like it because I generally like Battlefield's gameplay, but something's off for me. MAG might've been perfect for me.
MAG lacked community, structure, and some game play elements that could have made it a lot better (perhaps that goes back to structure.) It also had weirdo controls.
Could you not just make separate psn accounts and then make an account for each on every machine, thus being able to load the content onto every console after one purchase, or is software tied to the account that bought it?
IMHO Helgast 1 was the best in terms of characters and story I really liked Templar and Luger's relationship and how you could change characters in between levels after you unlock them. Honestly I truly believe they kept Rico as the Main character because of people complaining about how it was "the same and boreing" when really it was awesome
