Get the Nintendo thinger. That is essentially a USB Wireless adapter. However, it's made by NIntendo specifically for the DS and Wii so setting up your console for wireless will be a snap. Just make sure that there is a PC in the room or nearby to get a good signal. It's all "click click done"
What's the price of the Wiimote and Nunchuck? My local walmart is selling them for $40 and $20, but I could have sworn IGN said they were going to be $20 and $10.
alright thats cool its just i have very little knowlegde on the wii right now because my football season just ended and im getting back to my normal life :0
has anyone had problems with the wiimote disconnecting during play? several times now, with red steel (during swordfights) and in wii sports the controller stops doing anything for a few seconds, and then the screen goes black and says that "communications with the wiimote have been interrupted" and then i push the A button and it goes back to normal. it's really annoying though, and i dunno if the batteries are just coming loose when i swing it around or if there is a part inside that isn't working right or what. i checked the operations manual and it doesn't say anything about that in the troubleshooting. if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it, please help. i will call up nintendo as a last resort, but i'd rather not bother them.
Can someone give me some kind of tutorial on the Wii Parade? Please? My friend and I have registered each other, we have Travel settings enabled, and all of our Miis are set to Mingle...but we don't show up in each other's Parade. When we do go to the Parade, it simply says, "It looks like nobody's here...".
Are we doing something wrong?
Also: When you go to register Wiis as friends, it has an 'Other' option. I have tested email, and that works fine, but as of now, is there a way to send messages to cell phones? Because, it does show one next to the computer in the 'Other' square.
i've had funny things happen when the mote isn't pointed at the bar, or when i walk in front of it, but it fixes itself in a couple seconds. the full-on disconnect thing is different, and so far it has only happened during motion-sensing parts that don't use the pointing. i suppose i will call up nintendo then and ask them about it, thanks.
