...what they did for Halo. And by "they", I mean the wonderful organization (or dis-organization, depending on who you ask) at Rooster Teeth. It can be argued that Halo's popularity is tied in with the success of Red vs Blue and vice versa. In the end, I think they both complimented each other brilliantly. I only hope they can do the same for Shadowrun and Shadowrun for them. It'd be nice to see cooperation between RT and FASA the way they had with Bungie.
Besides, there are lots of games with no plots and are focused on multiplayer... You don't see people complaining about UT having no plot, do you? (unless I read wrong, and it does have a plot...)
Yeah, think about the first episode of RvB. It was just two guys talking about God and 2 guys spying on them. Now if they don't defeat a computer AI along with dozens of freelancer clones, the world could end becuase of a larvae! The plots can get pretty twisted, so don't judge the first two episodes.
1-800-Magic is definately going to go far, and theyll be able to do a lot of different things with the magic/modern weapon abilities, but i do think (like with everything at the beginning) this could use a little bit of improvement. and theyre not really using all the charcters much
well all i gotta say is its hit a new sky high in doing more new things like the mouth moving... that will be diffrent to rvb, with helmets going up and down the only problem is the eyes they need to blink then this would pe PERFECT

Well according to Burnie, this isn't the ONLY project they've been working on, so unfortunately I think this one really might be a short fling. But only time will tell.
It's sad this is only a 4 part mini-series. I hope they continue it in a full machinima series like RvB. Then again Burnie has been saying that this is the end of the - then he bolds this following part - Blood Gulch Cronicles. So there is likely to be more Red vs Blue... which is a great thing =)
No, I thought the 4 or so episodeso of PANICS were funny. There wasn't a lot going on, and the ending wasn't amazing (like I'm sure RvB's will), but it still had some funny parts. I'm just going to miss the T-shirt quotes from all of RvB. That's right, I'm a gay robot.
Redvsblue i was just thinking if RT somehow stuffed the ending up then i guess they will have a lot of ppl after them (not Meaning That they will) but alot of halo fans joined because of RvB

The reason SR doesn't have a Solo Game is because they neglected to include a Karma/Skill system and because they took the dice rolls out of a pen and paper game.

Dude, really glad u guys decided to use Shadowrun as one of ur series'. I recently downloaded the demo to my Elite and i thought it was amazing. I had this feeling in the back of my mind that it could be used for machinma. U guys are AMAZING.
well the fact that halo is way awsomer then shadowrun. dont get me wrong i have shadowrun demo and i think its great but the actual game is online only (which sucks). so you could play halo at any time any way you wont. online, campaign, split screen, system link. whereas on SR you can only play online. halo has a wider market.
I don't see why everybody feels they have to dis ShadowRun just because its MOSTLY online only, I mean the gameplay is almost perfection. Its nice to have such unexpected twists in a FPS game, what other game could you be running away from a dwarf with a summoned monster while he shoots your ass down?
I bought the game yesterday after playing the demo only once or twice and I don't regret it, Infact as soon as I post this I'm off to play it again because I love it so much. And comparing a new game and franchise to that of the Halo games and franchise is just kinda stupid in my opinion, cus no matter how good SR gets people will always just try to hold it back and look down on it if they do that. Anyways enough of my ranting haha.
The 1-800 Magic series is great and by the looks of it there are far too many fans just from the first 2 episodes for RT just to keep it a short mini-series. I personally look forward to watching hundreds of episodes in the near future :P
omg another long thing for someone to not bother to read... keep it small... Shadow run looks okay but i love the stuff with halo and how you can do anything you want ... get in machines... fly... pick up new weps... and go to diffrent places not always in the same place...
Despite the bad press, I really like the full-on Shadowrun game. And I understand that 1-800 was only supposed to be a mini-series, but 4 episodes was WAY TOO SHORT. Cock teasers.
