I understand, that you people supply, entertainment for free to me. I thank you.
But when you start a forum, and ask for feedback. I will tell you what i think.
RT Guyz, sorry to break it to you, Just drop it now. You are wasting your time.
Number 1, the game looks gay, it ruins the mood of everything. Number 2, the jokes need to be worked on, they just arnt funny. All slap stick. Number 3, the guy in the blue armour and the one with the sniper voices dont match what the character looks like. Number 4, you know the sayen "jump the sinking ship"............hint. Number 5, dont ignore what your best hit is (RVB), it's like KFC, going for hamburgers as there number one all of a sudden. WHO THE FUCK GO's TO KFC FOR BURGERS!.
I give you a "F" in Feedback Support, but a "A" in Being a Noob
Hey everyone dont be mean to rt. Stop comparing to past and great shows like rvb and stranger hood and look to the future
eg a Gears of War Michimina or a one in an old game that some people should remember tribes 2 make on in it i dont care its about 8 years old its still fun.
in conclusion dont gudge them and compare to the past
Theres a difference between comparing to the past and deciding somthing dosnt reach your standards, but I agree, we should look forward to better things from RT, and hope they have learned from the rubbishy magic one who's name i forget. Mabye they were just using it to test out some of the graphical impovements of which there were many.
Number one is just a person opinion, so it's not the gerneral thing. Number two, the jokes are fine. Lol! Number three, the voices are alright. The Elf and his voice match o' lotto.
I was 4 freaking episodes people!!! It didn't even get a chance to get really rolling. As soon as it really started to develop characters it was over. I like the game and series, personally.
i think your only valid point was really 2, although there all a matter of opinion, like I personally never liked the strangerhood. I think this would have been better of in a journal.
I thought 1-800 was good I mean the RT guys are getting tired of RVB Im sure and they want to spread there creative wings (yeah that was really gay I know) the only part of it that was slap stick was the bacon -_- it could have done without that but other than that it was all thought out
If you look at how RvB started, it wasn't all too amazing either, you're basically comparing Magiv to RvB without giving it a chance to develope. let it run it's course, and if by the end of the first season there arent enough people who like it, then it'll be canned but at least give the show a chance to prosper and grow, if you don't then you may see what it would be like if RvB never made it's rounds.
This topic makes me cry inside. Most of it is all personal opinion.
I found absolutely nothing wrong with Magic. If I had, I don't think I would have been so damn negative about it. Just remember, after all, it was just a mini series anyway. They didn't have the 4 YEARS they had with RvB to really fleash this out and work on all the bugs. Give them a damn break.
contrary to what the majority of this thread says i really liked 1-800-MAGIC i thought for only being 4 episodes long they did very well they had very set characters and I didn't really hear the "caboose mode" that Kroze mentioned but then again i wasn't really paying that much of attention i am also a big fan of science fiction and magic and the like this could have been what attracted me to Shadowrun and 1-800-MAGIC so much well there's my 2 cents =)
I think it ok to love something, but not like everything about it. Take your family, for instance. I am sure you love them all, but you dislike it a lot, too. But you can't drop it because it is still important in many regards. So, asking your family to get dropped is rather harsh, especially when you make mention of it at the dinner table.
First off, show wasn't written by burnie, it was written by joel. Second, the majority of the jokes are in the classic red vs blue style, thus being situational humor. On another note, action machinema's often don't do too well for some unknown reason. Roosterteeth is just sticking to what it knows, and that is comedy.
On one hand, I think RvB needed to end a bit ago and the forced ending that is building up to be all squashed in one episode is just pointless... also RT really should work on expanding what they do machinima with besides comedy. We all saw how great Burnie's plot and serious writing could be when they did Out of Mind. But on the other hand, the end of RvB might mean a lot more mini-series with no substance and throwaway jokes like PANICS and 1-800-Magic.
