Ah, I know this thread is way dead, but for anyone still watching this thread, just so you know the second movie, Lagann-Hen has finally gotten subtitles! bssubs.net They have subs torrent or DDL, and let me just say, this movie reminded why I liked this series so much in the first place.

I have just started watching it, I'm liking it, but I'm not that hooked to be honest. Maybe it is because I'm a decadent westerner, but Simon's whole 'I wanna go home' thing really annoyed me. Kamina had to re-convince him to man-up almost every episode... then they killed him! Reaaally struggling to flick on the next episode... Should I carry on?
