I was away for the past couple months and just caught up on all of the episodes I had missed, going back to Garage Sale. I think they handled the departure pretty well. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how Creed does as manager. Haha
Words cannot describe how much I hope Darryl gets the manager job. I feel like he's one of the best characters on the show and I want to see him utilized a lot more.
I watched series 4-latest episode in a week (I'm sad, I know) and I feel sad that I stopped watching at the end of series three as I never felt that 'connection' with Michael Scott leaving but I feel he is not the best character, unlike the UK version (David Brent was the best).
The cast are seriously the best comedy ensemble since Seinfeld.
I can see a Kelly Vs. Darryl competition for manager as they both did the minority executive programme but Darryl winning in the end.
Andy and the receptionist need to GET IT ON! Seriously, Andy should get his woman after his disaster a couple seasons back.
Yeah, the last few episodes they've changed the opening credits depending on who the current acting manager was. There was one with Deangelo. Then one with Dwight.
I think the people at The Office have as much uncertainty with the future of the show without Michael as everyone else does. I'm one for cliffhangers, but that season finale didn't answer shit. Yes, it was star-studded, but at the end of it I just felt a bit disappointed. And even more uncertain. I hope they do something to quell that feeling quickly into the next season or we're gonna have some serious problems.
There's cliffhangers, and then there's what they did in that episode. It didn't feel like a season finale. That episode is gonna bother me until the beginning of next season.
Has anyone ever tried to actually suspend office supplies in jello? I made an attempt, but ended up with an abysmal failure. Lemme know if there's a special trick to this. It could definitely be useful. And for the record, while I feel bad for Dwight, I just love Jim and Pam's pranks.
I knew of someone doing this. The trick is to use less water in the mix so it's harder, and use string to get the object to "suspend", then pull it out.
As {Paul} Lieberstein previews, “He’ll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company” as the new Sabre CEO.
I love Steve Carrel. Does anyone like the theme song as much as i do? The workers are great, except Dwight. Im sorry but i just dislike him. A lot. I mean, a guy that attmepts to ban the women in the office from the toilet?
I'm finding it enjoyable, but they certainly should've moved on once Scott left. It's not like the show couldn't go on without him, they're just not utilizing the right characters. But they should end it this season.
Actually, with Mindy Kaling working on a show of her own design and with the talks of the Dwight spinoff, they'll probably call Season 9 it and let folks move on elsewhere.
