I just made a map in Sandtrap where I got rid of everything on the map, placed all the spawn points only at the far ends and the only weapons available were banshee's and hornets. The idea was to make a large area, four person air battle. This sucked pretty bad. The vehicles couldn't respawn fast enough. So if you were shot down, by the time you could get another vehicle, you opponent was ready and waiting to shoot you on take off.
are there some alterations to this that could make this work? Looking for ideas here. Just if you could mention what's been good for forging for you and what to avoid, this would be a good thread to watch for the next few days as I'm gonna give the old forge a good going over this weekend. Maybe you too?

Add more vehicles? Is there a max on the map? Because if there's not, just leave a whole arsenal of 'em at the spawn point. The game idea is good, just gotta even it up a bit.
well it's funny, me and my friend did alot of stuff on the forge on that exact map, we experemented on how many vehicles you could shoot through using the spartan lazer.
dude, there's just so much stuff to do and take into account, I attempted it once, I have a big respect for the game designers that have to put the levels together now
umm if you hit X over a placed vehicle you should be able to toggle the respawn down to i think 10 seconds is the shortest. but even so there is only so many that is allowed on the map at a time.
You could put a Spartan laser at the spawn points, that way they could shoot them down, and they'd have enough time to get into a vehicle, and set the vehicle respawn time to 10 seconds
well maybe theres a respawning thing in the menu for your vechiles or maybe before you start the match there should be one in the menus some where idk but try that for you spawning prob
also when you hide yourself with boxes in a hole dont get stuck lol thanks for your time reading this
hmmmm Galim is right just press X and drop it to like 20 seconds although that whole aircraft only idea does seem ok but maybe there should be shop weapons in case you're stuck on foot running for your life

set the spawn for the vehicles to 10 seconds. that should work. if you need any help with anything in forge, let me know. i consider my self to be very good with the forge. i have made quite a few successful maps.
also, there is a simple thing about forge most people dont know. if anyone wants help with spawn points and so forth message me or add my gt PP MooCow PP
