DivX finally coming to PS3

OMG it's about time...

this is gonna give a big boost to the game companies i think. they will be able to incorporate divx content on their disks and we all know how widely used it is.

and i'll finally get a break from converting videos lol

maybe thats why we got all those delays on Home....maybe now that the deal is done, we'll get Home faster

Not until Spring, and Kaz Hirai was disappointed with Home. He didn't think it was ready to release. Now that we get DivX, games should look better.

yeah, i guess it will be easier to integrate full motion video into games. more interactive movies? maybe more games like dragon's lair but way better and more responsive.

DIVX finally hitting home tomorrow.....only problem, xvid is not supported, divx 3.11 and files larger than 2 gig are not supported either....

is it really? cause i tried several Xvid files i have and it said it wasnt supported....and i have other files with Xvid in the name and they played....it's weird....

I had some issues with getting it to recognize XviDencoded files from a USB drive, so I just go display all and it suddenly notices the files!
