ok, so since we're lacking a proper Digimon thread on the site i thought i'd start one. go ahead and talk about anything to do with Digimon. just no endless prattle about which is better. Seasons 1,2,3, & 4 were epic. any updates on Data Squad are appreciated. So in the spirit of all things Digimon, Digi-Discussion port OPEN!
no. i'm the guy who draws digimon in REAL life. and that thread is about Data squad. this is about EVERYTHING. the movies, seasons, cards, manga. EVERYTHING.
the first movie as in, "DIGIMON: THE MOVIE"? because that's just the dub versions of movies 1-3. lol i love how nobody is able to figure that shit out unless they go to research it. there's currently eight movies: Digimon Adventures, Our War Game, Hurricane Touchdown, Revenge of Diaboromon, Battle of Adventurers, Runaway Locomon, Island of Lost Digimon, and Digital Monster: X Evolution. movies 1-2 are season 1 (Digimon Adventure) 3-4 are season 2 (Adventure 02) 5-6 are season 3 (Digimon Tamers) 7 is season 4 (Digimon Frontier) and X Evolution is a completely independent story. we have yet to see a movie from Data Squad (most likly because the dub version hasn't finished yet).
another thing about Data Squad (a point that i frown upon) is that the main character (Marcus Damon) doesn't wear any goggles! i mean, sure they screwed with our head in Frontier by not giving the Digidestined parters, but rather turning them INTO the digimon, but this s out of line! some fans were probably thinking: "I wonder that the new goggle head is gonna look like?" but NOOOO! they didn't give him any, AND they made him an even bigger moron. (Data Squad rant done now...)
you know what, i honestly don't think there are any. but (if you take your time looking) you can find all of the episodes from every season (up to the end of Frontier) on YouTube. Data Squad isn't even complete in Japanese on YouTube.
I had watched a bunch of data squad eps on Youtube a few months ago. I found it okay, but for some reson, it started seeming pretty boring the longer I watched it. I'm glad they upped the characters' ages a bit so it appeals to me more in that sense, but it felt kind of, I dunno...gray. Like something to watch on a rainy day. Can't remember how far I got, though. I may return to watching it, now that this thread has reminded me of it.
have you tried the site known as crunchyroll.co? They almost every anime known on that site. But I'll have to look into it once I get home from work.
And I agree Darkfire180. Data Squad didn't really catch my attention all that much like the first 4 seasons. I was alos pretty iffy on Tamers, but after I got into it I noticed that it wasn't all that bad.
I love Digimon! The only thing I don't like is that the main character, (Or the two main characters) always gets way stronger than all the others. They fixed that in Digimon Savers though. Frontier was the worst for that. I always wanted to see Kabuterimon and Ikkakkumon digivolve to Mega
That would of been pretty cool to see. But since it usually focus's on a MAIN character, the other's really didn't matter all that much. If it was ment for all of them to get to Mega, then there would have to be a much stronger enemy.
Oh there was a stronger enemy, but instead of Digivolving, they used their digivices to make a box around him. And that's how they saved the world. They made a box.
season one. in Digimon Adventure o1, their digivices made a cube around Apocalymon's All Delete attack, so he only destroyed himself. now, if they had Omegamon, they would've raped the fucker.
Yeah, but again, Omegamon is 2 stages ahead of all the others. If Tentomon could have warp-digivolved, Omegamon might not have been needed in the first place.
Omegamon is just a mega level, but he's extremely powerful. and fuck HerculesKabuterimon. he didn't show up because there are WAY better mega forms to be seen. like Seraphimon, or Ophanimon
