Yes I know there is a topic for Code Geass, but that is season 1, and it is largely dead, so as is the case with Higurashi no Koro Ni, I thought it just to create a separate topic for the second season of Code Geass.
Anyway, I was and still am super excited for this, with the massive cliffhanger that season 1 gave, season 2 has already started with the twists, with Rollo and the Emperor, The Knights of the Round, and the Chinese Federation with badass Xingke.
As for those who need a refresher/ summary of what is happening here in season 2, here's a quick one:
One year after the incidents of the first season and the failure of the Black Rebellion, headed by Zero's Black Knights, Area 11 has been demoted by the Emperor of Britannia to the rank of a Remedial Area territory. This has resulted in the Empire enforcing harsher rulings and punishments on Area 11 and beginning a thorough crackdown on the Black Knights, arresting several of its members and shutting down its operations. The Empire is also at serious tensions with two of the other major world superpowers, the EU, that has been fighting a lengthy war against it, and the Chinese Federation, which itself seeks to conquer Area 11 without fighting a war.
So far as of my post, episode one and two have been subbed, and episodes come out every Sunday night from what I have surmised. Basically just hoping this one can do better than the other thread, because this show which I believe to be largely excellent is a strange mix of Death Note style trickery and twists combined with the tactics and fighting of a Gundam show. (minus Gundam Seed ANGST ANGST ANGST ANGST)
Part of ep3, as in, the last 5 minutes or so, was leaked onto the bandai main site, so we may be looking at a 1-2 week delay for them "revise" the episode and ep 4 b/c obviously if it's the last 5 minutes, then the next ep preview is in it. Anyway, you could probably find the leak somewhere, I've seen it, and it wasn't that big of a spoiler anyway, I don't see a reason to delay anything.
You probably couldn't find it anymore, but you might try either google video or veoh, but I wouldn't worry about it, since the same ep. comes out tomorrow :P
Does anyone else think a time stopping geass is a bit......bullshit? Even considering the fantasy like world it is and that Lelouch has absolute obedience blah blah
Well I'd say it's more of a distance held paralysis geass, since when rollo uses it in ep 3, it only affects the little bubble around him, and it only stops the people, not natural stuff, like the water under them.
Also, I don't see why people say "OH BAW EVERYONE HAS GEASS NAO" when there are only 3 ppl with it, out of the entire world.
Well honestly, I really like Rollo's b/c it's more of a physical power instead of a mental focused one, as in, you can do stuff to an area instead of one person's mind once. The Emperor's annoys me mostly because it's a great deus ex machina device, like, why doesn't so and so remember such and such? The emperor, like a failsafe plot device. Although, I would prefer Mao returning over both of them, he was cool.
In reply to Kratos1, #10: Rollo's isn't physical. It's still completely mental. He just distorts people's perceptions within a certain distance of himself, making their minds perceive time differently while in that area.
Every Geass ability is mental, that's the point of it.
But the entire story reminds me a lot of Death Note.
It's a great twist, but it makes me want to punch Spinzaku in the face even more than I did before. Although, I must say, seeing Lelouch get passed by everyone in the chase was hilarious. 1 year and his physical strength hasn't improved any lol
so what the fuk are C.C and V.V anyhow! Atlantiens, aliens or something els random. I want Mao to come back he would be cool... If he where mentally stable!

Yea, I'm pretty sure hatred of Spinzaku is a majority thing by now.
No episode next week due to some crap with the Chinese complaining b/c the next ep involves Zero taking over China, and they just had that earthquake, so yea... no ep. Stupid I know.
Goddamn chinese... And even I hate Suzaku, and i've only seen four episodes. He needs to realize that sometimes you just need to let people kill each other. Shit... now im wondering whats making you all hate him so much...I bet he's gay...flamingly gay...
